  1. what a great thing to be able to do that with your son. Best of luck to you both. My sons aren't old enough to dingle worms off the dock yet, but as soon as they are...
  2. wow, that would earn me a slap in the chops
  3. Geez I wish I could help you but its been nearly 20 years since the one and only time I fished there. From what I recall there was all kinds of structure - weeds, rocks, and best of all...weeds with rocks. Let us know how you do.
  4. nah, it was a 2 lb bass with a 9 lb ski clamped down on his tail
  5. C'mon JB...you gotta give us the..."then we smashed another one..."! Sounds like you guys had a good day despite the weather. Great report and photos.
  6. Wow those are some real nice largies. The pike is a real snake too.
  7. I'm with hookset...we're on a secluded lake near Parry Sound, but I'm always looking for other spots. If only I could find a secluded musky lake up there (and the time to fish it) I'd be all set.
  8. highliner fishcakes. No idea what kind of fish or even mammals end up ground up in there but they sure are yummy
  9. heck of a fish. That's one of the best release shots I've seen too.
  10. Wow what a musky! That one would even do the niagara proud. Sounds like a greta trip.
  11. welcome aboard and bring that camera so we can see some pic's of these pics
  12. Geez there's a lot of people who are "in" without even knowing when it is...wish I had that kind of a schedule!

man oh man it would take a heck of a lot of stink-bait to entice a brute like that
  14. wade through the credit around burnhamthorpe and you'll catch rockbass, the odd smallie, and Chubs...lots and lots of Chubs
  15. Moore is a knob...he is also funny looking
  16. Looks like you got some nice fish for the newbies, and a real nice boat too! What I can't figure out is some of those fish look REALLY dead, but they are still on the line. You weren't catching dead fish were you?
  17. autopsy :D :D now you're talking my language
  18. I have no idea what kind of fish that was, but those are some great photos.
  19. that's a great looking fish
  20. That wasn't a sucker...it was the wily and elusive bugle-nosed trout!! At least you finally got onto the fish, who says money can't buy happiness?
  21. I only fished there once with a fellow some might know as "Lurch" (RIP), and we caught a number of smallies just trolling the chanel
  22. Soft plastics with no weight twitched back in do the job for me
  23. Wow! fishing has been good to you. Very nice photos, that one is an absolute football
  24. Very nice fish and kind of the person to help you out! I caught a "legal" Sailfish down in Florida a few months back on one of the party boats. Naturally, had no camera with me but a guy on the boat took some pics...never sent them. Nuts.
  25. nice report and welcome to the board. Pretty sure I'm at 14 muskies for a lifetime so I'd say 14 is a pretty dang good week!
