I went bottom bouncing roe in a Huron trib last weekend for the first time. Wow. What a blast. I had a rainbow on but lost him due to rookie mistakes and low end gear / prob not the right rod and setup. I digress. What's not clear to me, is fishing beads as the OP mentions considered flossing? Now I am considering buying waders, fly/flossing? rod and cheaper pin reel setup from crappy tire - one I could use for bottom bouncing or trying my had at flys someday. I curse the chap for takin me out in the river...

Damn. I got to my truck parked in an open parking lot @ downtown London after work tonight and quickly seen the mess. Busted window. What a freaking mess. I am so pissed off right now. If I left work on time tonight and not at 7 PM, this probably wouldn't have happened due to too many potential witnesses. Crap.

I travelled from Toronto to my seasonal camper in Wasaga Beach then BBQ all the contents of my freezer like all other campers and had one heck of a potluck party!

The only thing worth saying to those kinds of knuckleheads (if anything at all) is "Nice meeting you. Any pleasure has been all yours. Take care now."

Too bad for the OP. When I am on the water I expect and try to keep any encounters with other boaters and fisherman friendly and cordial. I am not looking for a new best friend but share a hello/howdy do and move along. I feel like and probably sound like and old man when I say this but this didn't seem to happen so much years ago - and I am only 40! I used to see lots of etiquette and common sense demonstrated while fishing or golfing. It seems lately to be in the downward trend. Everybody is in everybody elses way.
