  1. The only real value I see in having two cards is if things go wrong you have another card for purchases while the other gets sorted. The credit limit shouldn't matter so much cause the banks will sort you out anyhow. I suppose the less damage by a fraudster means a situation gets sorted more quickly. If folks don't use credit cards much anyhow, probably one card can still suffice. Even with the inconvenience of a situation and perhaps a visit to a bank branch, you can be back in business with a new card fairly quickly. Just my thoughts.
  2. I always thought you were kinda sharp Art. Now we know your wicked edge secret! Nice job on the knives. Cheers, Mike
  3. Wow. Some people just don't have the brain power to be respectful members of society. Sorry to hear
  4. That's a wild backlash! The thumb trick works really well. Sadly, I didn't fish much last summer and am craving a backlash (the fishing kind only).
  5. It's great to hear you are in the mend Simon. Cheers, Mike
  6. Awesome display of goodwill and spirit. I am a big fan of Canadian Tire and a proud shareholder. The company is a great Canadian corporation.
  7. I just read this to my wife. Told her i had a touching story to share. She was thoroughly entertained...eventually. Haha.
  8. Same here Mike. I got 90K on the original Goodyear Wranglers on my RAM. I priced around a fair bit and finally decided on Canadian Tire Motormaster Total Terrain A/T2. Bought 4 for price of three after discussing with the automotive manager. I am very happy with the purchase.
  9. The Griswolds are on CBC at the moment. It's such a great movie and I can relate. Most families have a Cousin Eddy. If you think your family doesn't, well....do you have a pet dog named Snot? What is everyone else's favorite Christmas movie?
  10. I agree in spirit with you but a dry basement is important to me.
  11. I lost power for three hours this morning (6-9) just easy of London and my generator wouldn't start. I have been sick and unable to test it out and repair the last while. Thankfully, my neighbour was able to borrow a generator and I could also plug my sump pump into it. Once I was in the clear, the power came back on. I have a few branches down on the property but no real damage. I better get that generator going and back to monthly starts.
  12. Here is a pic of old reliable from a few years ago. If we get enough snow this year, I might clean her up and crank her over.
  13. That sounds awesome and the making for a great time!
  14. Great sled. I'll never sell my '90 Phazer II.
  15. If it all balances out in the end as they say, there are really good days behind and/or ahead of you. Chin up pal. I don't know you but know well enough from being on OFC you are Eh-Ok and will be fine.
  16. Awesome. This thread needs more pics!!!

It was frightening to think at age of 40 you could drop in a heartbeat.

  20. Majority of the time I would say yes. The higher quality more expensive whiskey tends to be much smoother, bolder and warming - not burning.
  21. Appleton Estates Jamaican rum with eggnog is nice. Give it a try.
