I know and have fished every inch of the river for about 40 miles in either direction !!!! Lol .....

Can't go wrong with any of them up there Chris !! The fishing is awesome out of any of those parks !! Driftwood is great and gives you miles and miles of river to fish and you can trailer around the swisha dam and fish below for miles and miles too !!!!! The fast current below the dam is insane !!!! But further down a bit there is anything & everything to catch !!! Pm me I might be there in a week or so myself !!!!

The MNR is doing lake surveys !!!! Not creel census they do the creel census & anglers surveys all the time !!! They are going to put out scientific instruments and nets and other things there is adds on the radio telling fishermen & boaters to not touch anything they see marked with MNR on it and they will be out at lots of different locations for months

All week long there were hatches of mayfly a on sturgeon lake there empty shell casings are floating all over !!! We also had a few smallies puke some up at the side of the boat !!!! And in the early morning right after daylight they are sucking them off the surface !!!! Kinda cool didn't see any mayflies in Haliburton lake yesterday tho seems that the kawarthas is where they are hatching this week !!! They seemed to be the smaller mayflies too more of a brown/black color at least on my lake anyways

The motor sounds like it gas overheat protection on it wich is good !!! Yes change impeller is a start DO NOT OVERHEAT THAY MOTOR OR WAY MORE SERIOUS DAMAGE CAN HAPPEN like wrapped heads go get it serviced

Launch at view lake !!! It's a few mins up the road from ceaserea more parking and all sandy spot to launch it's quick easy and access to good spots and a 5 min boat ride to get in the river !!!!

Yes I heard it on the Lindsay radio station too as well a few times today Lew !!!! Hmmm never heard of the opp doing a spot on the radio for fishing gear in the news !!! Must have been a large amount ?? Although 2 were arrested for it a 17 & 18 yr old !!!! I'm sure the people who lost it will get it back !!! I'm glad they got them too !!!!

Nice catch greg !!! But yes the walleyes are getting boring it's almost bass season !!! The walleye fishing this year had been awesome tho!!

There is another boater missing as well north of Kingston in Frontenac county the opp say as well his boat was found and he is missing !! I found it on CTV Wow not good news for either families another 2 reasons to wear your PFD !!!!

Like the song says "they paved paradise put up a parking lot " !!!!! Took all the trees put them in a tree museum,charged the people a dollar& a half just to see them !!!! The good old urban jungle !! Nice comparison Joey !!! What a difference for sure

It's in the lakes too !!!! Some lakes in Haliburton are green !!!! Lots of pollen floating in the water and you get a nice dirty scum line on your boat and trailer !!!! And yes I have had watery eyes and sore throat too !!! You can taste & smell the pollen in the air too !!!!

yes arent they insane mike !!! i have fished many years on the ottawa river and they have a massive hatch up there too !!!! i hope its on right now too,as im going on a few weeks vacation,and might end up down your way as well as the ottawa river for walleyes !!!! woo hoo

So because I'm fishing a weed edge 20ft from someone's dock with a jig someone might think I'm fishing oos bass !!!! That's a joke as most of my walleyes this spring have come from spots like that !!!! So sometimes it's just idiots that assume you are fishing oos bass !!!! And I have even left fishing spots as I have had some big bass follow my bait and I have purposely pulled the bait away from them as not to catch them !!! So again it's sometimes that just because the know it all guy thinks you are fishing for bass oos it's them that really have no clue !!!!! Which is typical !!!!!! So it does work both ways

Yes I seen this a few days ago in the media.!!! And if course nobody is going to claim it and nobody knows nothing about it !!!! Must have been the recreational fishermen who did this !!! After all it's because if the recreational fishermen that there are ghost nets found quite often !!!
