  2. CT has an assortment. Have had a pair for 3 years half leather half rubber. Warm and waterproof.
  3. About five+ years ago my daughter owned a VW Jetta and there was always a cruiser parked in front of our house Tavio Way (FandA you probably know it) one night she lent the car to her fiancee and got promptly stopped (11 pm) I called and asked what the problem was as my neighbours were starting to ask ?s regarding this activity. I was told there were stolen cars in the area etc. I'm sitting reading the paper when I spot a cruiser outside after my call. I went outside and invited the nice man in and questioned him about it . . . The stolen story was not true but what was, is that the previous owner's daughter was mixed up with unclassy people and they were checking to see if she had returned in the area! And advised us to change our locks. I called my daughter down and he showed me a picture of who they were looking for and it wasn't her obviously she is not of Asian descent. As the conversation lasted about 10 minutes and was very friendly I asked him if he would take her outside and put her in the cruiser just to get the neighbours going? He turned me down but we had a good laugh and was on his way.
  4. They're just waiting for more Hondas to come so they can go racing. Just ask my 90-year-old mother who lives in the complex south of the school on Martingrove what goes on in the middle of the night. That stretch of road has seen more that one casualty . . .
  5. Cliff, I've never met you, but you have helped me with your small engine knowledge and was very much appreciated. I so glad that there are people like you willing to help out, damn if I was closer I'd have my boots on. Hope it all works out well for you. On this board all you have you do is ask and they come running. Albert

  14. I've had a Jeep for the last 12 years, I have a 95 Grand C in the garage with 370,000+ km and running. I just got a 2007 Compass, so far no problems whatsoever. It's how you take care of them . . . that goes the same for my 1989 Snow blower! Just like it came out of the box, well close . . . .
  15. GO fishing, you can always go shopping Friday afternoon . . .
  16. Take pictures, I go to sleep at 11 p.m. I have a coin from the Vatican that's older than this event! (1634) Back in the 90s all the planets aligned in the southwestern sky, that was a sight to see. Won't happen again until 2015 I believe. Roy, you don't look a day over 40, I don't care what they all say. Good things come in small packages . . .
  17. Lew, are you having venison roast for Christmas?
  18. I'd stay home for a while
  19. Spends all of his money on fishing stuff!
  20. Randy, I hear you. One thing I learned is to photocopy/scan everything front and back. It happened to me, I looked everywhere I could possibly look, then I went for replacements, My health card wasn't in it and haven't had SIN card for ages, It's in my memory. The rest of the stuff was simple. After going over what I may have happened I figured it out. I came home and put my wallet on the coffee table on top of previous day's newspaper; I finished reading that day's paper and put it on top of my wallet, since it was recycle day I wrapped every thing up and into the blue box it all went. York Region boys told me they would look for it just in case :wallbash: Hope it turns up.
  21. You can put the uShovel next to iRon and iRoningpad, that will get you cookies.
  22. Always check where the auger meets the engine that the bolts etc are tight. Nothing like having the engine in your hand and the auger going down the hole. It's happened, I know. The look on their faces was priceless
  23. Solo, if these people are so incompetent that why is this service needed? Just to please the Banks! I'm on my 4th house and never had one done, yes minor problems do happen. (My last one had a dog/cat with fleas that were never present on visits and nearly killed our kid's cat after we moved in; cost a few $000 to get it cleaned – next time I buy a house I'll require a pet disclosure) but like a furnace not working; give yourself a shake. Believe me if I was following him around, I'd turn it on myself and wait for the heat/air . . .
  24. That is why they are sitting in the sun.
  25. Nice fish, love the catch and release. :thumbsup_anim:
