  5. I've had a Jeep for the last 12 years, I have a 95 Grand C in the garage with 370,000+ km and running. I just got a 2007 Compass, so far no problems whatsoever. It's how you take care of them . . . that goes the same for my 1989 Snow blower! Just like it came out of the box, well close . . . .
  6. GO fishing, you can always go shopping Friday afternoon . . .
  7. Take pictures, I go to sleep at 11 p.m. I have a coin from the Vatican that's older than this event! (1634) Back in the 90s all the planets aligned in the southwestern sky, that was a sight to see. Won't happen again until 2015 I believe. Roy, you don't look a day over 40, I don't care what they all say. Good things come in small packages . . .
  8. Lew, are you having venison roast for Christmas?
  9. Randy, I hear you. One thing I learned is to photocopy/scan everything front and back. It happened to me, I looked everywhere I could possibly look, then I went for replacements, My health card wasn't in it and haven't had SIN card for ages, It's in my memory. The rest of the stuff was simple. After going over what I may have happened I figured it out. I came home and put my wallet on the coffee table on top of previous day's newspaper; I finished reading that day's paper and put it on top of my wallet, since it was recycle day I wrapped every thing up and into the blue box it all went. York Region boys told me they would look for it just in case :wallbash: Hope it turns up.
  10. You can put the uShovel next to iRon and iRoningpad, that will get you cookies.
  11. Always check where the auger meets the engine that the bolts etc are tight. Nothing like having the engine in your hand and the auger going down the hole. It's happened, I know. The look on their faces was priceless
  12. Solo, if these people are so incompetent that why is this service needed? Just to please the Banks! I'm on my 4th house and never had one done, yes minor problems do happen. (My last one had a dog/cat with fleas that were never present on visits and nearly killed our kid's cat after we moved in; cost a few $000 to get it cleaned – next time I buy a house I'll require a pet disclosure) but like a furnace not working; give yourself a shake. Believe me if I was following him around, I'd turn it on myself and wait for the heat/air . . .
  13. That is why they are sitting in the sun.
  14. Nice fish, love the catch and release. :thumbsup_anim:
  15. 85 feels more like 8.5 Here in Kleinburg we got rain/snow all day, they say it will flash freeze overnight and my drive downtown is all down hill. . Not a good time to have my 4 x 4 Jeep in the garage for the winter!
  16. At Jane/Dundas/St Clair/ (independents outlets) area gas is ALWAY 3-4 cents below what we pay in Weston and the 401/Woodbridge area; my last fill up was 1.06. Our government (a bunch of idiots and that is just me) really knows how to discourage visitors; taxing everything that keeps them from coming here. Gas, HST etc. I'm NO economist but if you tax people to death they have no disposable income, which slows down the economy. Do you not think that the transportation industry will not pass on these fuel cost? Prices will go up and they collect more taxes . . . and we fall farther behind. I hope that our next governors will realize that taxing us to death is not the solution; we have to have the $s to spend and keep everyone else going; from food stores to recreational activities/tourism. The more we have to spend the more they get, but if you take it up front! I'd like to know how many of our American friends have decided not to come because of the transportation/HST costs . . .
  17. If she read this, you will be getting an iNone.
  18. I need a bit of help. I working on a tourism book for Spring/Summer 2011. I will have a section of NEW things to do see in Ontario. This could be a new hotel, golf course, fishing lodge, fishing tournaments, events in your community etc. Any age group . . . I would need the event, location and dates and contact if possible for verification. I can't go to press if not verified. I'd really like to hear from Northern people, I get complaints that we don't mention you. You can respond here or pm me Thanks for your help
  19. Not worry Irish, I won't save anything; they come over for dinner EVERY Sunday and this week I had him here for two days! CT business I have three married daughters and one at home so I have to feed 4 more people, It's cheaper to buy gas.
