You can say that again Seriously though, my batteries are the first thing I go for when I'm done fishing. Even if i only run the graph off them.......I throw the charger on them. I find if you keep them fully charged all the time, they last much longer. Sinker

Scuro, We are talking about two different things here. Its hard to argue what you are saying, but I can't stand for it. You said: "greater handgun accessibly leads to greater numbers of unnecessary death." Of course it does. The thing is, if you are a LEGAL handgun owner in Canada, NOBODY can access your guns. Most of the facts you posted are from pre-registry days.......since then, storage laws have been added. Show me some facts regarding how many REGISTERED, LEGAL firearms are used in crimes in Canada. I'd bet it is a low number when compared to the number of illegally owned firearms used. Why take away priveleges from people, when you can PUNISH the REAL criminals? Sinker

You talking about sturgeon here........cause I've never seen this......and I'm docked on the lake. ??? I think you could be mistaken......no? Fishing is good on Sturg though, I'd go south of Fenelon, and launch at long beach. As your coming south on #35, hang a left in cameron on Long Beach Rd. Follow it to the water, and the launch is right there. The weedline running N/S from the launch is a great spot for eye.......I get the odd crappie there too. Sinker

Everyone seems to do it different with drift socks. I tie mine off bow and stern. This way you can adjust the length of either rope to position your boat the way you want it, and somewhat control the direction your drift. If I'm drifiting too fast, I'll adjust the lines so I drift on an angle to the wind......I find there's less boat in the wind if your angled, so you don't go as fast. If its that windy, I'll troll. I hate fighting the wind. Sinker

Put up some facts to sway the majority, and you may not feel so divided. Show me some CANADIAN facts regarding LEGALLY owned guns used for crime. Show me something that proves murderers are using registered guns. How many registered guns have been used in crimes since the registry came to be? How many gun related offences have taken place with registered, legally owned guns? I'd love to see some facts. The problem is.....you won't find many.....hmmmm.....I wonder why??? IMO, strict ENFORCEMENT is the key to gun control ........period......banning them won't change a thing. There will always be guns, legal or not. Deal with the REAL criminals, not legal gun owners. By all means, slow down a little to save some gas. Just please.........drive AT LEAST the speed limit. Not only are you holding up traffic by driving less than the posted limit, but you could possibly cause an accident. That has to be my biggest pet peeve. I'll drive the limit all day long, no problem, but drive just under and your just getting in the way of the flow of traffic. Sorry to hijack...... Sinker
