I'm always happy to see them too, but it would be nice if they did, indeed, ENFORCE the rules Around here anyways........not sure what its like where you are Art. S.

Cool! I'll bring Wyatt too! S.

Forget about the consoles, and go tiller. Just think of all that extra space you will have in the boat to fish from, and the improved control on your boat. The guys who are complaining about cold, and wet.....well,I guess their wives made them get the windshield. Wasted space IMO. s.

Yep, the only reason he got off, is because you weren't fishing. If you guys were on the water, rods in hand, you can bet he'd get a fine for it. If your bud had of kept one, he'd prolly be up to his armpits in fines. How could he fish with no license? I don't get that at all......its one thing to leave it in the truck, but to just not have one?? Come on.......?? S.

I'll be down there for canada day. I'll bring the rods with me. I'm sure I won't have to twist the kids arms to do some fishing while we're there What am I fishing for? Just need to know what set ups to bring S.

I'm not sure why you want to raise it either. I wouldn't attach an outboard of any size to what you've described though. Not a chance. You could use a 1" thick piece of hardwood(hockey stick) under the motor mount to lift the engine up an inch, but I wouldn't want to go much higher than that. I've seen small tinnies with a transom riser on them though, so they are available somewhere. S.

I also have a 16 starcraft tiller with a 40. It will run 30mph all day with two guys and gear. 3 guys, a dog, and gear I run about 27-28. S.

I have 6 clarus rods. From a 7' ultralight, to a 7' med heavy, and everything in between. 3 casting, 3 spinning. Great rods, I swear by them. Just the price, with the warranty is good enough for me. They are great quality too. I hung up two compres and use the clarus's instead. Even my kids run 6'6 clarus rods! S.

You gurls all go to bed already?? S.

My buddies also got into them pretty good. Nowhere near the pack at all. Same deal, found a lucky school that wanted to play. Otherwise, it was a pretty slow day from what I hear. S.

I had the same problem with my 40 Mariner last year. It was the fuel line. It looked just fine, but for whatever reason, wasn't working right. I would also reccomend a good dose of seafoam to clean out the fuel system from tank, to exaust! S.
-
That depends on what your doing with it. If your trying to clean the fuel system out, I'd put about a half a can in your tank, and burn it all. After that, an ounce or two/tank is fine for a stabilizer, and maintainer. S.

The things you see when you don't have a Shotgun in your hands

I haven't seen one of those for a long time. A .243 turns them into a nice stain S. -
I have one of these outside my window every morning. Can they make a racket!!!! Drives me nuts! S.

My STARCRAFT aluminum doesn't leak a drop. Its only 15 years old, and is in the water from late april till december every year. I fish lake O from june-sept every chance I get. My buddy that I fish with alot has an '04 princecraft that leaks. Princecraft is a decent boat, but not my first choice. S.

I use 17lb mono on my harnesses. Works great until a musky grabs onto it. Then you just take your chances. S.

Well, if your planning on letting the young lad reel in the fish, I would not hesitate to set up the 3 rods. If you and your wife are going to reel them all in, then set up two, but give the young lad his own "kids" rod to play with. If he catches a fish all the better!! I don't think a CO would give you a hard time either way. S.

Same here. As long as your not eating fish every day, that is fine for your health IMO. Just don't be frying your food every day. I do this too. I ALWAYS have some bacon grease on hand. S.

Those look good. If your in a pinch for the black spoons, just take a bic lighter to them. They will change colour pretty good. I do it with williams jigging spoons to get that copper look. Some days its the cats meow!! S.

I dunno, our township sand/gravel/salt trucks are all line-x'd. From what the guys tell me, its pretty tough stuff. If you can line a stone slinger with it and it holds up, its gotta be pretty tough stuff if you ask me. The salters are line with it to, and it prevents a lot of rust! I could see scrap metal being dragged in and out of a truck doing some damage, but that would also tear up a bedliner. One thing is for sure, the line X isn't going to blow out of hte truck going down the highway like the one I barely missed a couple weeks ago! S.

I don't see any holes drilled out there??? How could you get that close to a lake, and not even drill a hole?? I couldn't do that@!! S.

I fill/mix mine right in the tank. If I put in 10 litres, I add 200ml of oil. If your mixing a full, 25l tank, you will need 500ml of oil. Forget about gallons. Just remember, 20ml of oil, for every litre of gas, and your good to go. ALWAYS use stabilizer of some sort, trust me. Ask me how I know that?? S.
-
I'd say he only took pics of the bigger ones. 7 caught, 4 kept. Pics of 3 nice ones. I know the spot for sure, and I'm sure there are a few others on here that know the spot too. Its no secret.........anymore S.

Shell V-power has no ethanol...........yet! You can run any gas in it you want, just make sure to use a good stabilizer in it, ALWAYS. Seafoam works great for me. I put a few ounces in each tank for maintenance/stabilizer, and run about a half can spring and fall to decarb the engine and clean the fuel system. Fill from the bottom, put top screw in first, remove oil from bottom hole and put screw back in quick. No mess. Takes about 4 minutes. Measuring how much comes out is not a good idea if it is low already, Glen. Fill it till its full and call it done. Mike, 20ml of oil per litre of gas. Don't over mix it, it doesn't need more oil. S.

I could see it maybe being a pita sliding heavy stuff over the axle, but that is the only downside I can see to it. If its something that heavy, your gonna need a lift to get it in there in the first place, no? Sure beats crap sliding all over the freakin place everytime you hit the gas or brakes!!! The stuff is bullet proof. I'd love to see it rip up like paper. I just can't see that happening. It is expensive, but the lifetime warranty is good. How much did it cost for the full bed?? S.
