  1. This is one thing that really helped me when I first started. Long distance casting will come with experience, always had a professional overrun whenever I tried to get just a bit more distance with a quick wrist snap at the end of the cast.
  2. I use them whenever I fish muddy waters. Helps the walleyes center in on the jigs. I use a very hard 1-2 feet rip so that I can feel the vibration it in my rod tip.
  3. The cops didn't show up for 15 seconds, you had lots of time for a few head shots. Sounds like you had a rough day. hope you have better ones soon. Dan
  4. Great report!!!
  5. All I see in those pictures is STRESS RELIEF.
  6. For me it was 4 yaers ago Jan 1. My wife who was a big smoker quit last Aug. using Champix and she hasn't had 1 craving at all and now feels exactly I do about Cigarette smoke. It's got to be the nastiest smell around. After 2 years I had enough for a good part of the asking price of a Princecraft 165SC
  7. You don't have to mess the angle by much to render an auger useless.
  8. Might have to do some work on where you had welded the lag bolt. All you needed was a new set of blades. One small bang on the blades and it will destroy them. You can sharpen dull blades but if the angle is gone then you need a new set of blades.
  9. That's what I will use the next time. If you look in the yellow pages for restaurant equipment they have the plastic that they use for cutting boards. You can have then cut to size. I replaced my 14' boats transom with a couple of pieces of that plastic and it'll last a lifetime.
  10. GBW let's hope that your snowblower can be turned in a gas powered water pump if needed.
  11. It's your first?? I can bet that it won't be your last. TDunn nice one!! Here's mine, would've been too redneck if I got it done in English It says I LOVE FISHING That's my 5th one and I am looking at getting more. The next one will be the outline of my childhood lake where I first started fishing.
  12. I traded my 6year old 2hp 8" Jiffy last year for a brand new still in the box 3hp jiffy. Worse traded I ever made, God I miss my 2HP.
  13. I used them on a Windlass tipup b4 and they caught me some fish.
  14. Not me, I ain't getting wet for him, "HE'S" OUTA THE BOAT!!!
  15. He might have 1 or two that are real bloopers but the rest of them are staged. And teh broken rods?? he probably has 1000 rods so what is 5-6 of them to try and look funny. He's trying to imitate Willie E. Coyote. I can't stand him.
  16. Depends on the spot. I have some early walleye spots that if you are not there 1 hour before sunrise you will miss the bite, and by 7:30am they are nowhere to be found.
  17. The yellow rope is what I meant when I said Nylon rope.
  18. This is the best way that I found. Just make sure it is not a stiff nylon rope. a good anchor rope is needed. On my longer ones I usually fold them twice then I start the knotting of it.
  19. Actually I tought you were going to say that the seat was the Maple Leafs coach seat and that he was now vacationing down South. Isn't that what usually happens when the Stanley Cup Final is going on.
  20. I made one myself . Just take the cover off of a plastic bucket, cut a slit in it, then use a pistol grip clamp to hold the able going to the camera and all you have to do is hold on to teh plastic cover and turn the clamp around. I try to figure out where the camera is pointing then I just clamp it accordingly so I know where the camera is pointing all the time.
  21. They are cute that size, here's my smallest sauger Just noticed my triple chin. They're all gone now since I dropped 37lbs.
  22. I am not sure but I read it somewhere that the cable is easily spliced.
  23. Works in the winter also. that's how I setup my walleye tipdown if there is a lot of current. And like Ben Beattie said use a jig and minnow at the botom instead of a drop shot weight.
  24. 1) Golden Earring- Radar Love 2) Stevie Wright- Evie(Part 1) 3 George Thorogood- Move it on Over 4) Marianne Faithful- Would you do it.
  25. My 2 kids work at CTC. The no receipt-no refund thing is here to stay now as of the first week of January. They have been told by the upper management not to give refunds if the person doesn't have the receipt. It was one of the only store that was left that was actually doing that. They had been doing it for so long and it seems like some people were taking advantage of it. This is not good or bad Customer service this is the norm of other stores. Prove that you bought it there and they will gladly refund you . So keep your receipts guys!!!!
