  1. Google baitcasting 101, then Baitcasting 201 you won't regret it
  2. We need to stay hydrated. And ice cold water is not really the way to do it. It's a hell of a shock to the body. I worked outside for 22 years and I've found that a water jug of cold water just from the tap is much better than ice cold water.
  3. It happened to me when I forgot to turn off my Auto-pilot and I stowed the motor away. It kept turning around until I pulled the plug or turned off the Auto-pilot. Hopefully you didn't make the same error.
  4. I will, I hate the smell of bass and musky on my hands after filleting.
  5. Hopefully someone called in the Armed Forces!!!
  6. I read something last night that really opened my eyes. It seems like that fault line has an earthquake at least every 5 days. Most are not noticeable but earthquakes nonetheless.
  7. Talking about an outhouse.!!! Ask a buddy to help you back up the outhouse by about 5 feet just before going to bed. After a hot and spicy Chili Dinner!!!
  8. It must've been tasty
  9. Billy Bob not the same lake. This one is on the Quebec-Ontario border East-North-East of Timmins.
  10. Not really the spikes fault. It took me about 5 minutes per spike last summer. It all has to do with what kind of ground doi you try to put it in.
  11. It's not as much how you freeze them it's more how you thaw them out. Make sure to put them in water to thaw them out or they will turn to mush.
  12. $125.00 for a face cord around Ottawa. So I would say that $300.00 for a full cord is not bad at all.
  13. See that's what happens when you let somebody hold it for you. They turn around and blab about it. Never again Jer!!!
  14. Okay that'll make me think twice before going skinny dippin!!! I've seen what they can do to a 10" bucktail.
  15. Can't be a muskrat or a beaver (look at the teeth)??? Marten or otter would be my guess.
  16. Jacques I am still trying to figure out why all those animals would carry coins around and drop them beside there poop piles. I've heard of Paying toilets but give me a break. They'll have to start pooping at night when nobody is around.
  17. I would find him a place very quickly. Send Bergeron to the minors and get Subban in the permanent lineup.
  18. I have a Napoleon also, Best built BBQ I have ever owned. If you cook a lot of steaks you might want to look at the one with the Side Searing infrared plate. CTC has them on Special every once in a while. I bought one this spring $150.00 off. Best buy I ever made. This is the one I bought http://www.napoleongrills.com/Gourmet-grills/Mirage/M485RSIB.html
  19. I'm in Ottawa, just look in the Yellow pages for Restaurant equipment. Or somebody mentioned Canus Plastics .
  20. I have the exact same boat. Here's what I used to rebuild my Transom. Cost me about $40.00. I got the plastic from a place that sell cutlery and Restaurant eqipment. It's the plastic that they sell fro cutting boards. they ussually have different thickness and they cut them to your specs.
  21. It's going to be a real nice Deer Blind. But why would you have a big round table, a recycle bin and a big BBQ in it???? Kidding!!!
  22. You have to let it warm up a bit, some (or all motor) have a thermostat that has to reach a certain temp. to open up. Or you might have to rev up the engine a bit to get it to open. I am not a mechanic but I had a Merc 20hp that did the same thing , a bit of revving and it started peeing.
  23. I have a Jumper between the 2 batteries that I remove for charging. Ist because the batteries are not a matched set and secondly I only have a 1 bank charger installed in my boat. My second battery is charged with a separate charger. It's a hassle but it works for me.
  24. I'm wondering if the rapala knot is good to use with braid?? I know that the clinch and the improved clinch slips when used on Braid lines.
