Thanks everyone for posting! Got out yesterday for the first time. Six inches on a local pond. Striker suit did exactly what it was designed for. Thanks again!
Thanks all for posting!
I ended up getting a two piece Stryker, fits like a glove! Gonna enjoy it for sure.
Now, if only we could get some ice here, I'd give a real report!

Once you've had a 2 piece suit you'll never go back. Just so much more comfortable and I've never been cool in my Striker suit! I've had a Climate and am now in an Apex! Honestly the #1 feature for me, being vertically challenged LOL are the adjustable inseams in the bibs! So nice not to be dragging your bibs everywhere!
Painless, yes for sure, once a person could do it.
My beef is they could TELL US on the website that one cannot renew until such and such a date. OR, why not allow a person to renew two months in advance, or three, or ??? It strikes me as bureaucracy of the worst order to deny permission to renew until only a month is left in the card.
Striker Apex looks like a solid suit too. I use a Canada Goose Arctic Rigger most of the year, but, purchased a Striker Apex this year for first and last ice. Very well made.
I've been wearing a Striker 2 piece for several seasons now. I'm all on board the 2 piece train after spending more than 20 years in a one piece. The strikers are nothing like conventional survival suits either, they are very comfortable to wear!
Good to see you back Mike. I have a Striker Climate and would agree that it's a great suit. I wore out a pair of bibs after many years of hard use so now I have two sets of the liners that have basically never been used lol. Just too damn warm.
Bought a striker climate 2 piece suit with floatation (not legal floatation device)
love it
it’s actually too warm and I remove it he liners from the bibs regularity
