  4. Slayer, ive got a minnkota pd55 with ipilot on the front and boat is a little heavier as ive added front and rear casting platforms plus storage areas. The bimmini folds down out of the way right in front of the motor!

  5. I saw that boat up at Northshore the other day. Not a heavy boat but you want at least the 20. I had an old Mirrocraft 14' with a 15 2 stroke and that was just enough. Actually I sold it to a guy on your lake.

  7. I would assume the Yamaha would have the rpm button that will allow you to troll down to 600 rpm.

  9. If you don't go with the max, then 3/4 is pretty much the low end or 20HP.

  10. Due to most of the consumer shows being cancelled again this winter, I got to go ice fishing a lot more this year! I didn't really think about it in the past but I normally spend about 6 weeks of my winter at trade shows! Now I spend it on the ice LOL! Still a few weeks more!

  12. Might be doable if you live in the city, imagine just the round trip cost of gas if you're from farther away plus $20 admission.

  13. Look at the price breakdown on a litre of gas and you'll know who needs to cut the people some breaks. Tax, tax and more tax.

  14. Years ago I caught a fish. Thanks to this board I was invited out fishing. We went to a place that’s hard for me to fish in my boat so it was nice to go. I didn’t have much to bring to support the now many trips. So I tried to be a good guy to fish with. I know that sometimes that’s all other people need. Now the important part. On my wall beside my chair there is an 8x10 of the first Muskie I caught on Georgian bay. Must be ten years ago I guess. I just wanted the driver of that boat to know I still say thanks.

  15. Great camera work. the wood was last barely light enough to be landed. When I was reeling it in it was swimming like a real fish. Best fight ever.

  16. I know that spot... and you're always welcome Glen!! My big boat hasn't moved in 3 years now with too much going on . Then there was the time you caught a fishing rod... I think it fought better than the Muskie... or better yet the 14' board..
