  1. Insanity is right, had enough of this crap to be honest... they blocked off a public launch in Dunnville too. But by all means go ahead and have 100 flights land from all over the world every week in Ontario.

  2. I'm going to start a business showing people how to load/unload their boats. The final examination will be at the Tiffin launch with 30k east winds

  3. They couldn’t beat me last spring brother, they won’t beat me this spring. I made a small trailer out of bike tires so I could strap the back end of my tinny to it and wheel right past the closed launches and down the bank. That, and with marinas specifically named as being allowed to operate (including launches) I’ll be fishing one way or the other!

  4. It's funny, I couldn't cast with my left arm even if I wanted to. All casting is right hand dominant, doesn't matter if it's spinning, baitcast, float, fly, whatever. I'll happily strip line and reel with my left hand if I'm fly fishing or float fishing or spinning. But baitcasting, gotta use my right hand. Doesn't matter if I'm tossing 1/4oz topwater for bass or Pounders for muskie. Switch is always made in the air before the bait lands. I've been doing that forever, I don't even notice it now. I'm sure it looks odd to some.

  6. Just go man. Drive to the launch, and go. If its closed, drive to the next one. There will be somewhere to drop your boat in, and you aren't hurting anyone or yourself. I'm sick of the crap too, and I will be going no matter what. Give me my fine, have a nice day, see you in court. S.

  7. It makes no sense and is ridiculous . I'm a 10 min drive to the Ganny , on this drive i pass 3 golf courses ,parking lots full. Was the closure designed to limit people region hoping ? likely, does that mean the golf courses are only allowing municipality residents ? In our house its my son that suffers the most from this decision , at age 11 with all sports cancelled and living rural the kid loved fishing the river 2-3 times a week , and was looking forward to launching the boat for some crappies this week. Its what he looks forward to all week. Rant over LOL, its my first one during this pandemic. Now to tell him the bad news .

  8. I managed to get my daughter and her pup out for some Cat fishing, she (my daughter, not the pup) has never caught one. She was successful, me, not so much. She managed 2 good sized Bullheads and 3 Channel Cats and one small Goat (that's for you JGM, Baaaaah!). The largest cat she was not willing to hold.

  11. Just port hope being port hope. They’d fill the river in with cement if they could.

  12. You are a northern redneck for sure; but with a different edge. You know what the (#*^%) you’re doing. I’m not a big Mopar guy ; but that pic sure does show the icing on the cake. What an amazing display of Chrysler’s glory days. Dan

  13. There was a post on another board by a bud that was perch fishing and one of the perch had a large 1.5" Mayfly nymph in it . I thought wow that thing is huge and well,I got to tie some of these. So I did.LOL The hooks are to light for whities, but I will fix that soon,as I want to use these for whities as a dropper. Opener will be here soon on the small rivers and streams,I have been watching a lot of Euro Nymphing . I am very intrigued in trying this, so I tied up some to try. Weighted fly on the bottom and a light one on a dropper. You can tandem or tri this set up. I will start with the tandem, and work my way up . One tangle at a time .LOL
