  1. The last Tales from Post seemed to get a solid response so I have added a new one This is Tales from The Lodge - an interview with Gord Bastable, owner of Vermillion Bay Lodge on Eagle Lake It was a really interesting chat and a bit of an eye opener about a day in the life of running a fishing camp https://www.northernjacks.com/post/tales-from-the-lodge Cheers and thanks for reading Andrew

  2. So I woke up and my dog is laying on the back patio covered in dirt with a rabbit in his mouth. The rabbit's not bloody, just dirty. My neighbor's kids raise blue ribbon rabbits. I instantly knew it was one of theirs. 😢 I took the rabbit away from my dog, rushed inside, and washed all the dirt off it before my neighbors could come home. It was stiff but I heard some animals play dead when they are afraid but I couldn't remember which ones. I took it and placed it back in one of the cages in their back yard then I ZOOMED back home. (Don't judge me 😒) Not 30 minutes later I hear my neighbors screaming so I go out and ask them what's wrong? They tell me their rabbit died three days ago and they buried it but now it's back in the cage. 😳

  10. Thanks Geoff, really appreciate the effort, there seems to be quite a few places that sound promissing but that one color in that particular style is elusive

  11. Your welcome. Many ways to tweek if needed. Done several very big fiberglass cruisers this way. Eg. is to trailer jack up the front after supporting the stern as described and then support the front under the trailer with blocks Now lower the jack so trailer jacks wheel is off the ground the height you want to increase and put some wood on the ground under the jacks wheel so jack can then be used again to lift your rig higher as needed.

  12. yup and deep cleaning is still not going to affect the major risk. it's all about airborne and as along as there's poor ventilation ( ie- very few complete changes of air), then the virus is gonna keep on keeping on. the building my office is in has been changing filters regularly and I believe went full hepa last year. so few people working here though. my neighbourhood has seen huge parties with four or five families, if not more (this weekend was big kegger b-day party). next door is a doc at one of the UHN hospitals and she dreads explaining to her kids why they can't play with the other rug rats. this is in a nice neighbourhood so I can only surmise the upper middle class think they're invincible or DGAF....sigh

  13. Getting back on track... my local "Metro" has two confirmed cases, that may end up being a lot more. To make matters even more "interesting, both my teenage kids work in that store! One confirmed case of a deli worker, the other is in the produce section. My son works in the deli and my daughter, produce! Little to no direction coming from the store. They did do a "overnight deep clean" last night. We contacted public health and will be getting both kids tested after a 7 day waiting period. So here's where the stupid are dragging us around. One of the deli co-workers decided to make and drop off some soup, to the confirmed case in the deli. No problem right.... no, big problem as they not only dropped off soup, but decided to stay, in the house, for a visit! I swear, the stupid are going to drag us all down with them! HH
