  1. Some of you may recall I posted a picture last winter of a very uniquely coloured deer that was hanging around my backyard with her fawn. Yesterday afternoon she showed up again with another fawn so it was a real treat to see her again although she was back in the trees so I couldn't get a good picture but this one of her behind a shed isn't too bad. Always nice to see critters that are a bit different from the norm. First picture is from last year and the 2nd. one with the shed roof was yesterday.

  3. Plastic grommets don't get along with the heat that the "blue wrench" would throw at it. LOL I'd likely start by disconnecting the shifter linkage and then try and shift the T case at the T case's lever. If it'll move down there, you'll know that the problem is external of the T case. The shifter linkage uses ball sockets to connect the linkage to the shifter arm and the T case lever. These ball sockets like seizing up; If that's the case you'll likely need a replacement linkage. You may get them off with out breaking them; but by the time you get the socket cleaned up and remove the rust build up. They be so loose on the pivot ball that they'll fall off? If this is the proper diagram for your truck, number 6 in is the linkage I'm talking about. It may also be the shifter assembly itself that's seized up? That would be something I'd need to see before commenting on it? Like the others have said soak the crap out off everything you think might be part of the shifting mechanism. If you're up for a ride to London; I'd have a look at it and see if we can get it moving again? I'll call your visit and introductory offer; if there's no parts required; I'll do the labor for you. D&S Auto 90 Bessemer d. Unit #6 London 519-681-3844. I'm about to leave for the day; but I'll be back here tomorrow morning by 7am. Dan.

  4. All you guys with the 3.6 engine; don't let the guy changing your oil filter, over torque the filter cap. The torque spec is only 18 Ft. Lbs. Over tightening the cap could cause the lower housing to crack; creating a fairly large oil leak; that will run from the crack, under the intake manifold and then run out the back of the engine, socking the transmission bell housing. This filter housing is also part of the engine oil cooler assembly. There is no repair for this other then replacing the assembly. The lower intake manifold has to come off to get at it. Parts and labour adds up to about a Grand. Sorry for the hijack; but just a heads up, for you Mopar guys. Dan.

  5. I just received my iPilot kit for my PD V2. I tried to order this kit from Canada and could not find one anywhere. I called Johnson Outdoors in Burlington and they were not much help other than telling me these are no longer being made........aaaaand that is why I want one now perhaps!!?? I ordered it from Lakeside Marine in Shabbona IL- $505 USD plus $50 shipping. They are great to deal with other than the fact they shipped it USPS and it took 3 weeks to arrive but I was in no hurry. Guys up here were quoting me between $900 and $1,000 'if' they could get it. Once call and 15 minutes later it was on order. Would definitely do business with them again! Cheers - John

  7. This is something I wanted try since a buddy posted on another board. It is the stomach and esophagus from a white fish. I was told it is like calamari. So today I gave it a go. I will say,I am a fan. Cleaned and rinsed and soaked in salt water for a few hours. Dry with paper towel, trim and fry. DANG, that is some good stuff. Like the saying, what wont kill ya,will make a stronger.

  8. Thanks Fisherman. As far as large Walleye tasting, well better than a Carp (yes I have eaten Carp) but we have to know that a 10 year old Lake Erie or Bay of Quinte Pic is a few years old not 5 or older if what I have read and told is true.

  9. That's a 2 litre bottle. We actually prefer to cook a 5lb Pic vs. a 8 to 10 pounder.

  10. You need to fully delete those Ecodiesels. I think the lowest mileage I'll see in my Duramax is when I'm towing the 5th wheel + boat (About 12mpg US) Problem is the most I'll see is maybe 17 unloaded, lol! It is what it is.

  11. Go like me. I do not care for fancy crap. My truck is basic. Roll up windows, manual locks and no fancy crap. Not even a CD player . KISS.

  14. Standard start up idle speed is about 2.3 ish. Top speed off the troll control is about 2.8 or so, min speed about 1.8. This is on flat water, no wind, on a 16ft wide starcraft tiller. If I need to go slower, and go with the wind, i will use my main, but turn my bowmount around backwards so my main is pushing against it. My main just over idle, and my electric barely on will stop me pretty much. S.

  15. The most important thing is to find that sweet spot for your trailer and boat. If you don't launch enough then start buying the gadgets.

  18. A number of production facilities have been shut down, on and off. Others, to provide social distancing, have reduced number of employees in plant at any one time.
