  1. Tough fish for those stocked bows LOL !!so needed a confidence boost closer to home. Headed out for some eyes and connected with some beauty’s Rippin rattle spoons and minnow heads . Aggressive jigging .... Mark a fish ..... slow it right down . Kept a smaller one for the pan .The Big girls went back down the hole . Let’s hope the ice starts tightening up with some cold temps , spud bars really getting a workout !

  2. Here's more info to stick into your brains. New studies have reported that a substantial number of those deemed recovered have been readmitted to hospital and died within 120 days of being released from hospital. This is a scary thought that a good number of people that were very sick with the virus and thought they were lucky to have survived end up dead months later because of complication from the virus. The reported numbers only report deaths that happen within 28 days of hospitalization. The death toll could be quite a bit higher if these deaths are included in the figures. Earlier in the pandemic Those people that were still suffering the effects of the virus 120 days after initial infection (like myself) were reported to be about 2% of cases. Now it's reported to be about 10%. Also the percentage of people with long term symptoms (longer than 30 days) is reported to be 33%. As the pandemic continues I would expect the numbers to change. The good thing is medical professionals have learned a lot and have new treatments to help preserve life. The bad thing is this virus can cause life long issues and may very well shorten life expectancy of a number of those infected.

  4. In 2006 I moved West and North. Best thing I've ever done. I did the move by myself mainly because I didn't have the $$$ to pay a mover to do it. I ended up making 2 trips from Ontario to the Northwest Territories. At least your destination is easier to get to and you won't have any issues getting a mover to haul all your stuff out there. You will need to make a trip or two out there beforehand to look at and purchase a property. You will need to look into employment also unless y'all are retired. It's a lot of work but I found it a lot of fun and exciting. Every time I come back to the old haunts in Ontario I can't wait to get out now. It's way too peoply for me now.

  6. Get yourself a 2x6 the length of your truck bed to slide that hut into your truck bed on. Much easier than lifting it. I used a Clam Fish trap for years. It eventually wore the sled part out, and I sold it, but it was decent. S.

  7. What you have chosen is a good set up for general fishing conditions. A MH for perch is no fun but a ultalight is no good for pike so the first rod should be something that does all jobs well. Eventually you will find the direction you will go to start tuning you're equiptment to the species and size you want. Art

Sometimes it helps to have buddies in the outdoors industry............turns out a buddy of mine (Vortex optics) knows the sales rep for Eskimo, who knew of a Quick Flip 1 that was in a warehouse somewhere...............and it's on its way. 10. as should be expected with time. Treatment, detection etc. has improved as the pandemic has rolled on. It truly is not as dangerous as it was when it commenced however the mortality rate in those over 60 years of age is still unacceptably high, hence the considerable concern with increasing case numbers. Man I cannot wait for the vaccine to hopefully get this thing to a point where we can go about our lives again.

  12. My comment wasn't political.. neither right nor left.. I'm not pushing an agenda.. its was an observation... He has freedom of speech.. he didn't get unelected, he can say whatever he wants. As a matter of fact his freedom of speech.. just got alot free-er. He got removed from the party.. He's still an MPP, that's an internal party issue.. not an overtly political one. Both parties have been outsing people for years.. especially if they have a mandate and dont need them. On an side.. Id rather not talk about politics here.. but Rizzo is a long long time member.,. and I like him lol... and Rizzo.. his constituents are his boss...
