  1. I'll begin vaccinating those who choose to receive Moderna next month. It should be interesting, there may just be the opportunity to vaccinate Canada's entire most northern community, myself. Being that individuals can accept or decline, I'll respect anyone's choice when I offer it. Hopefully, people are beyond Facebook educated by then and best able to control their opinions and just respectfully take the shot in the arm, or not.

  2. They're the exact same maps. You sure you haven't messed up the settings on the Helix? My Navionics app and the maps on my Helix 12 are identical no matter where I go. Almost sounds like you've got basemaps selected and not the Navionics card.

  3. That puts two products into the vaccine arsenal now, as well as two supply chain pipelines. The Moderna one doesn’t require the drastic extreme cold storage that the Pfizer one does, so it may be easier to get to more places. 4. Man I missed this show during lock down. Anyone else a fan? So far, Season 9 has been a gut buster! Not for those sensitive to language for sure, but really quirky and funny. I would post a trailer, but it would likely put me on the mod list! HH

  5. Nice work Brian! I remember using size 12 and 16 hooks to catch minnows, they seemed awful small for anything else.

  6. Nice Ties! I need to stock up on materials and get tying some “go to” flies. I buy more than I tie, usually from Reelflies. Yes, they are still in business. Ray

  7. Humminbird – press the Menu button twice, go to the Chart tab, press the down arrow to Chart Select and choose SonarChart (FishN’Chip on older models).

  8. You have to select the SonarCharts under your mapping options! Or it used to Fish N Chip under the old Humminbird menus!

  9. Grew up fishing Aylen Lake from '86 to '97. Lived on the lake year round for four of those years. Not sure what it is like now, but it's not far from Barry's Bay, and was (at the time) most affordable. Fishing was "ok" at best. Some lakers, lots of whities, and not many, but some real big smallies. Corner of the lake was actually inside the park boundaries. Quiet area of the province.

  10. NO arguments needed, I agree with you. My first time that I have answered to your post. Sorry, Apluma but we are bombarded with opinions from both sides. We are doing a lot better up here and hope to keep it that way. Everyone of us as an opinion, that is a democratic right for us all. My family follows what we are expected to do and will follow what our leaders say. So far we have not been affected by following the rules. My hope is that this will come to an end and we can all work together no matter what are political beliefs are. “It is about survival”, and for me seeing my children survive and their children. Keep well. This not may go over well but then democracy is what our parents fought for.

  11. They are simply awesome Brian! Now the biggest challenge is tying them on to your line! Try a pair of magnified readers or a monocle...lol.

  12. Lots of whitefish up here. Not the size of simcoe but there are so many, they are pretty much coarse fish. Think the limit is twelve.

  13. Try standing a few feet from that slag pit "eruption." I once blew the slag pit up that they filmed it in Toronto.
