  1. Exactly. Just because the guy isn't liked doesn't mean he is guilty of something. Let the investigation run it's course before we sentence anyone.

  2. Lots of salty dogs on here. I think your jealous that he is probably way more successful then yourself or has a different political view. Just saying, ease up.

  4. On many occasions I let my girlfriend drive if I had been drinking. O'Leary is a wine buff so it is not out of the question that he let his wife drive home, assuming she was not drinking, which the breath analizer confirmed. This would be sensible, responsible and therefore could have been the case. Personally I find O'Leary unbearable as a tv personality but that is not a crime (but maybe it should be, lol)

  9. Nice one Bill. They don't have to be 50" to be a nice Musky. It's funny how you picture someone based on their writings and then you see the person. Sometimes it's what you pictured, most times not. I didn't picture the person that is the real Bill. I'll tell you I pictured a gent with a short sleeve shirt on and a plastic pocket protector. Not. More like a bouncer in a old time Hotel. Ya never know. In Japan Cormorants are basically starved and then tied to lines and used to dive for fish very deep, not sure how deep, I've been told 200 feet to catch fish and then they are regurgitated by the fisherman to be sold at market. Mmmm good nothing like regurgitated fish.

  10. Most farm feed stores in just about any rural area should have sacks of maize (aka cow corn). You can buy an 80lb bag for about $10-12. Trout pellets in any real quantities aren't that readily available in most places unless you buy them from an aquaculture farm. They're also usually expensive when you find them, and they're generally not that instant of a bait when it comes to feeding carp. If you're in the Kawarthas, just find any form of water and you're bound to hook into carp. All of the locks usually hold resident fish throughout the summer - I'd recommend rigging up with some heavy braided mainline to combat the zebra mussels (like 65-80lb PowerPro).

  11. If a boat has no running lights when out there in the dark I find it hard to think a power boat hitting it is an unexpected thing. To me it is a tragedy waiting to happen. Driver may have even been distracted by cellphone or ? But the police will determine things.

  14. What if O'Leary had a few drinks with his friends and was doing the responsible thing and letting his wife drive the boat, or is that too hard to imagine ?
