  1. Yesterday
  2. The guy obviously knows his way around fly tying, same as yourself. Woolly buggers are very popular out west here especially on the Bow River for rainbow and brown.
  3. Thanks gang for the kind words. I have well over 2000+ ties stocked away and building. I have plans on being at the CANCAST 2025 . Talking to some guys that were there last year,I would be well to attend at their tackle swap section. I have have packaging now and labels are being made this week along with cards. I have a good customer base for my ice grubs and my spring twitch and bead bugs now. Woolly buggers are always selling well. Like to share a good story . This was from meeting up with an older fella that has tied for a long time. I had this one fella that was picking through my bugs and wooliys. Asked if he was looking for something particular. He replied, no,I am impressed you use quality materials and hooks especially. Also advised my prices were very generous and should be charging more. I replied,I am comfortable with my selling price, it keeps my customers coming back. I felt like I was taking a test from this older fly tyer. He asked what I meant by double wrapped woolly. I explained my way of tying them. Lock the hackle at the head, wrap the thread back to the tail, wrap the hackle back, trap the hackle 3 wraps with the thread, then wiggle the thread through the hackle locking it down, back to the head and whip finish. He said not many do that as it,s extra steps ,but mentioned that is how he has done it for years. No messing around with thin wire, as is the norm. Turns out this guy has been tying for like 40 plus years. I was very humbled.
  4. Good choice in my books HTHM. Very nice. Congrats.
  5. Hundreds or whitetail pics and a very unusual one losing its winter coat to the likes that I have never seen before. I've been around whitetail deer my whole life but this is really different. It must have looked like a sheep prior to shedding. Pic of a Pine Marten, my favorite little critter, A pair of Ravens, Ravens, with luck on their side can live to 70 years and like a lot of other birds they mate for life and a gorgeous wolf. And my 80 year buddy just of this morning managed to get that ugly piece of black trim off some type of machine out of the ground from decades ago that's been spoiling my pics. It is very disappointing to say the least one camera, brand new out of the box on a well used moose trail never took a single pic. I also got some awesome videos of moose with another cam but unfortunately I can't post them. When I try to the computer pulls up a screen I know nothing about. I hope yous enjoy what little I got. Not all in order obviously.
  6. I've got zero complaints about the old Legend tiller we had, that thing was built like a brick **** house though. Definitely nothing like the Legends of today.
  7. I believe the City of Toronto sets the rules for Grenadier Pond, not the MNR. Will be interesting in the reply you get from the MNR.
  8. Last week
  9. Up until 4 weeks ago I had a Silverado to pull my boat, bought it brand new. First ever new vehicle in my life, my intention was to drive to the wreckers. That did not happen as I had it towed to the transmission shop instead. A result of GM's fuel management system where it shuts down 4 of the eight cylinders when not required. This does bad things to the torque converter and that results in glittery transmission fluid and burnt clutches. I ended up selling the truck to the transmission shop and started shopping for a replacement. I was advised to get a F150 with the 5.0 engine. I did not want a crew cab, so I had to search far and wide to get one with a super cab (cab and a half). This is what I ended up getting as my new to me truck: And here is what I hope to have it looking like as often as possible
  10. Looks great as usual Chris. figure out what dimensions you need and I will look through the box of antlers I have hanging around the house. Cheers Art

  12. Man oh Man Misfish, They look incredible, not that I'm surprised. Your creations truly blow my mind. I will be hooking up with you in the near future as I am anxious to try them for the western trout and walleye. Thank you.
  13. Oh my gosh, who couldn't love that face. Glad to see you got yourself a new companion Barry.
  14. I'll have to place an order Brian before the fall. Maybe even get you and your boy to deliver them in person and take care of yours and his rod issues.
  15. Thanks Bill. I now have it laid out and ready to go on the rod this afternoon having attained customer approval (11.5"s to reel position was his request) to proceed. On another note, it must have been nice to hear VERA up about again. She didn't come this way this morning, maybe this afternoon.
  16. They look GREAT !!!....Hope you are making a buck or two for your efforts...LOL.
  17. Another satisfied legend owner…. Although I joke, that truly sucks. Sorry about your warranty issues.
  18. Well done as usual Chris! 👌
  19. Beauty spot to live. I grew up not too far away and as a youngster put a canoe in Grenadier once so I could fish your side. Caught a giant carp pretty much out front of your place. I am hoping this Karen was just trying to prevent people from trespassing on your property...hoping.
  20. Absolutely amazing, you are truly very talented!
  21. What started as a low level tieing for minimum profit, has got me in a bit deeper then expected, but the rewards of seeing what I can do, is a bonus. Retirement is coming and well, I want to keep my hands and brain busy . Some of my latest works. o
