It's hardly new ... it's actually been around since 2012. 

I've driven various boats with Sharrow props multiple times over the years. Yes, its works well. And yes, it's very, very expensive. Especially when you hit a rock.

Worth it? How much do you spend in fuel every year? For 99% of Canadian fishermen, it would be very tough to justify.

in concept, i guess it could work...but honestly, what do i serve to gain by replacing my existing stainless prop? My boat is already fast, probably too fast when im alone in it, I guess some fuel efficiency? Man thats a lot of efficiency to make up for the difference in cost

Fuel efficiency is the primary benefit. It might make sense if you're a charter guy in Florida running trips 365..otherwise, it's a big investment to save a few pennies on gas.
