glen Posted January 16, 2022 Author Report Posted January 16, 2022 It would be very difficult for me to fit camping gear in my boat. two trips I guess. I’m looking at a few lakes. Nice to dream on a day too cold to be outside.

Easy enough and a few spots, including my point of land on the lake, that are close enough to the town launch that two trips wouldn't be a big deal. One site is even close enough you can slip over to the PPark and use the showers on the sly.... 1
pics Posted January 23, 2022 Report Posted January 23, 2022 I've always wanted to try Abitibi and Temiskaming looks interesting as well.. both can be rewarding and challenging...
Jmeyer Posted January 23, 2022 Report Posted January 23, 2022 If musky is a must try the Ottawa River region, not sure about lake trout though
CPH Posted January 26, 2022 Report Posted January 26, 2022 Within 8 hours of Toronto you have fishing heaven ....From Lake St Clair to Lake Nippissing to Golden Lake...and everything in between and the best part is that is only about 5 hours out of Toronto.

Back lakes north of Kingston are also great areas to play with lodges and B&B all over the place
