I hope the spring spawn for walleye is good.   Saw a couple guys fishing the bottom of Burleigh Falls today just up from Stoney. Signs all over about Fish Sanctuary.  😐

Dollars to donuts they’ll have status cards if their obvious about it.  Same thing happens at Buckhorn every year.

Which usually allows you to fish within your treaty grounds. Being Metis status doesnt mean you get to do whatever the hell you want.

What is Mites status?  I was under the impression that they have the right to fish and hunt whenever/wherever they want as long as it’s for their own use

Nope, it's gotta be in their territory or treaty.    Everywhere else the normal FMZ rules need to be followed.
