msp Posted August 14, 2017 Report Share Posted August 14, 2017 Hey guys, My Lowrance Hook 5 at the helm was installed about 2 years ago. I have not taken the unit off since installation until last week. When I re- installed the unit ,I cant get any power. I have double checked that the power cable has been connected properly. msp Posted August 15, 2017 Author Report Share Posted August 15, 2017 I got it figured out. I put the unit in the front to see if it was the unit. Power came on. Traced the wires back to the battery and found a blown fuse and bad connections to the battery. Cleaned the terminals and replaced the fuse.
