No way, that thing can hold too many past due notices. I guess you guys have never been in my rural neighborhood, the best one I like is the full size Stork with it's mouth open. Some would be considered folk art and would go for a few hun in a gallery in T.O.

I had the catfish version for 5 years. Then someone came along one weekend, while we were away, and stole the thing. Would have taken them a good 20 minutes to unbolt the thing from the steel railings.

I'd get another, except that they will soon be cancelling local mail delivery

I saw it for sale in a gallery in Yorkville for 500 bucks.

Was thinking of getting one when I bought my house last year, but with Canada Post cutting down on residential delivery I would sell it while you can still get cash for it.

 

Don't worry and put one up; junk mail delivery will last for ever.

turns out I just moved to the right place:)

 

im about to head out this morning and a van pulls up. guy get out and says would you like to pay for our newspaper? i say thanks but no thanks(paper is like 10 pages about farming a couple times per week)

 

ok he says have a nice day sir, and removes the mailbox and off he goes!

its a rental place so the mailbox wasnt mine to begin with
