kickingfrog Posted December 13, 2013 Report Share Posted December 13, 2013 With the weather the last few weeks it is quite likely that the ice is starting off very nice (always check for yourself) and relatively safe for foot travel and a permeant hut on the smaller lakes. However, given the type of weather we've had in the last 20 years (huge temp swings and green Christmases) in central Ontario I would be hesitant to put out and a permanent hut at this point. LOL Not me Brian,sorry lol.give me a shout when I don't have to worry to much about that.Always had a fright in me about ice,even growing up on Bluewater beach,lake front for my first 21 years.Had to help many people during that time,doing stupid things,and it put a fright into me.You seem to know what your doing and that's great.Would love to join you guys anytime!
