well I guess its about time to put up that recap of one of my best seasons on the water yet

started out the spring with them darned steelhead. This was my first year targeting them and boy do i enjoy it! nothing like watching that float skyrocket down to set the hook and having that 12 foot Shimano bent into a complete U

yup something like this!

then i ventured to the hills for my one and only speck trip of the year.. got my fix and that was it..such beautiful fish

really didnt spend much time on pike and walleye during the early season...theyre starting to get boring

so that brings up to the most beautiful time of the year. BASS OPENER!

as usual i spent a ton of time flipping and piching around trees docks and thick slop to put some giant fish in the boat..with a couple over 5 pounds in the first couple weeks i think it was a successful opening season

and who could forget that big old gold bar that ate my flipping jig in a tree that made me grin from ear to ear

my mid season had a lot of time spent on local waters trying to figure out new patterns for both smallies and largies... I learnt a LOT

then one of the biggest things happened, I move in with RJ in september. days off lining up together had us out on the water at least once a week. First up was something i have heard a lot about but never done.... Jigging lakers, I struck grease pretty quick as well as an absolute brute!
