misfish Posted September 22, 2013 Report Posted September 22, 2013 Since the rain fell 24hrs,and knowing the riv would be a wash,I invited my ole buddy up to try out his new vessel. It,s a nice vessel. Once we had it all pumped up and rigged,I headed out and awaited his departure. All this talk about high winds. Never trust the weather news. No rain, but for some reason, this rainbow effect was coming out of the ground. Ah here he comes now,,,,,,,,,,,,, ROW ROW ROW YER BOAT,,,,,,,,,,,,,,LOL The water is still really warm, but lots of fish to keep us having fun. Mixed bag of perch, small smallies and little buckets.
Rod Caster Posted September 22, 2013 Report Posted September 22, 2013 Oh man! I love that thing! Looks great.

misfish Posted September 22, 2013 Author Report Posted September 22, 2013 And exercise too After flipp.n for four hours,it took a bit to get the land legs back. Weird feeling. Nice float a boat bud. Need to work on a anchor for that. When the water cools,Im sure the bite will get real good. Im not into keeping perch ,that are out of bath water. Was a real fun morning for sure.

Nipfisher Posted September 22, 2013 Report Posted September 22, 2013 (edited) Yep, flippers are a nice addition to the personal pontoon. Mine is the Classic Accessories Kenai. Where did you by the rod holder Terry? Edited September 22, 2013 by Nipfisher
Nipfisher Posted September 22, 2013 Report Posted September 22, 2013 By the way I am considering selling it and will list it in the Classifieds come spring. On kijiji North Bay right now.
Moosebunk Posted September 23, 2013 Report Posted September 23, 2013 Like the pics. Cool set-ups guys. Will watch the vids in the morn. Spent the day at Funderland with the kiddies today. Sick with man cold and sleep deprived from some hotel partiers last night. I'd have rather had an easier day floating around in a tube jigging up fish. Better medicine.
danc Posted September 23, 2013 Report Posted September 23, 2013 Nice pics Brian. But for the life of me, I just can't picture myself fishing with a condo in the background. Maybe I'm spoiled.
misfish Posted September 23, 2013 Author Report Posted September 23, 2013 Dat would be the place Norm. Dan,I hear ya,but the walking/jogging path is a must.
Headhunter Posted September 23, 2013 Report Posted September 23, 2013 Nice guys and cool rig Terry... the motor/engine comment made coffe come out my nose! LOL HH

Dave Bailey Posted September 25, 2013 Report Posted September 25, 2013 Looks like a hoot, one of these days I'll get me one of those machines. No rain, but for some reason, this rainbow effect was coming out of the ground. Doesn't have to be raining where you are, as long as you're between the Sun and rain further away.
