Guy takes dumbest penalties and has like 6 own goals in five games and there going to reward him with 7m. This team is going nowhere

Kessel strategy skate towards goalie and shoot puck into pads.

Kessel is awful in the shoot out. Not sure how Carlyle doesn't realize this. Surprised they skated into bernier. Just pick a corner from the outside.

also the phaneuf own goals need to stop like he's gotta lead the league in those yet somehow manages a + stat, though like I said earlier +/- doesn't tell the whole story

Kessel rarely takes part in the shootout. Perhaps he was being rewarded for a decent game tonight?

Dion is a very useful D-man but at the rumoured 7 years at 7 million dollars per I'm not sure many will be happy with that deal at any point.

I think its a bargoon..Look at his #'s.. I dont think he should be captain, but who replaces him? Dion leads the team in +- and minutes per game..When the cap goes up the next 2 years 7 mill is going to look like a sweet deal...

On another note I seriously worry about other teams when the cap goes up..Look at the Sens for example how are they ever going to compete with a higher cap space when they cant fill their own house on a nightly basis..Wont be long before its a 2 tear league again..
