glen Posted January 5, 2014 Report Posted January 5, 2014 Toronto's D would be better if they laid down one on top of the other in front of the goal line. Gartner and Reilly. Soft.

muskymatt Posted January 5, 2014 Author Report Posted January 5, 2014 (edited) So what's happening on the Justin Beiber message board these days? Dunno, maybe you can add that to darts, synchronized swimming and UFC when your flipping away from the brutality... Or cricket or bowling, lol Edited January 5, 2014 by muskymatt

manitoubass2 Posted January 5, 2014 Report Posted January 5, 2014 Canada vs russia, what a game so far!!!!
aplumma Posted January 5, 2014 Report Posted January 5, 2014 Or darts!!! What's more fun than chucking sharp objects while drinking? Playing run before the big guy you stuck catches you. Art
manitoubass2 Posted January 5, 2014 Report Posted January 5, 2014 This russian goaltender is fantastic! Unfortunately
lookinforwalleye Posted January 5, 2014 Report Posted January 5, 2014 Well perhaps that will give them some life....pretty lacklustre performance so far!!!!
Steve Posted January 5, 2014 Report Posted January 5, 2014 Man, couldn't even get bronze. But Finland is beating Sweden, in Sweden. If the Finns win, this will be really freaking huge for Finland! Go Finns!!!
kickingfrog Posted January 7, 2014 Report Posted January 7, 2014 So, biggest surprise(s) today? Past players not making this years team? Young stars not getting picked? A slow vet playing on the big ice? Stamkos skated for 30 minutes yesterday. Seems like he's a lock to be named for now and they'll see how he's rehab goes for the next month. It was less then 2 months ago that he snapped his leg. As it turns out the schools and daycare are closed so I'm at home with the kids.
jbailey Posted January 7, 2014 Report Posted January 7, 2014 I don't believe any of the young stars from Edmonton will be on the team. I'd like to see Benn play for Canada, hes been having a good season so far. It would be disappointing if they leave Subban off like some analysts have been speculating. Thornton is having a great season but along with Carter and Richards, I don't think he'll be on the roster. We shall find out in just over 30mins!
BillM Posted January 7, 2014 Report Posted January 7, 2014 They shouldn't, they haven't been playing good at all.
kickingfrog Posted January 7, 2014 Report Posted January 7, 2014 (edited) I'm not sure PK's reward is worth the risk. Doesn't mean he doesn't get named, just not sure he'll play much. Funny, we usually have not enough Right hand D-men this year it seems like it is the other way. Edited January 7, 2014 by kickingfrog
BillM Posted January 7, 2014 Report Posted January 7, 2014 I don't think he's consistent enough, I bet that's their biggest worry.
kickingfrog Posted January 7, 2014 Report Posted January 7, 2014 Agreed. Four years from now and he might be the key stone.
kickingfrog Posted January 7, 2014 Report Posted January 7, 2014 Seriously French and English for name/city/team. It's all proper names.
jbailey Posted January 7, 2014 Report Posted January 7, 2014 Surprised to see Carter, Marleau and Hamhuis
jbailey Posted January 7, 2014 Report Posted January 7, 2014 Surprised they left St. Louis off the roster
Dan668 Posted January 7, 2014 Report Posted January 7, 2014 Agreed. Not sure I would of went with those three
jbailey Posted January 7, 2014 Report Posted January 7, 2014 Speed on big ice. St. Louis is a speedy little bugger
