FinS Posted May 8, 2007 Report Share Posted May 8, 2007 tried my luck for some crappies today got a few lil ones along with some gills and a huge carp i caught 5 garpike in total all hooked in the mouth saw alot of largemouth swimmin around along with garpike and carp caught this garpike on 4lb test slip bobber and a small piece of cooked shrimp sure was fun caught 4 others around the same size all released these fish are prehistoric Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I remeber fishing the old mill at Caledonia and there would always be a crap load of them spawning thier and some of them were over 10lbs easy. Mike the Pike Posted May 8, 2007 Report Share Posted May 8, 2007 I only ever caught one.This was caught in the Lachine Rapids in Montreal.I didn't hook it the line was tangled around its mouth.It's not as slimy as a Pike it feels more like a snake.
