Hey Everyone,

It's been a while since I've posted anything here so I'll pick a few of my personal favorites over the last few months starting with a fishing shot....enjoy!

This is a self portrait of me fishing under the milky way and the northern lights...but since I know some of you will ask if I caught anything, I wasn't actually fishing...just a prop for the photo!

This is another shot of me from the other night during the Lyrid Meteor Shower....there's actually 8 of them in that shot although only a few are really visible.

Brandon, those star shots are probably my fav out of all the stuff you shoot.. How much noise clean up is there in PS? I realize you're camera is better at high ISO then my 60D, but mine always seem way to noisy....

Any chance you could post up some of the EXIF data on those? I find that really helpful when I'm trying to capture something similar but am not having any luck, lol!

thanks everyone!

Bill, I've added the EXIF data below each of the shots. And as far as noise reduction goes, I really don't have to do all that much. My cameras can shoot at fairly high ISO's without damaging image quality. And for what it's worth, I edit with Lightroom and not PS. I'm sure the noise reduction is similar in both though.

Dave, I did enter that seagull shot...and I didn't win lol

Wow!

Amazing shots!

Congrats!

it's surprisingly a lot wider especially on a full frame camera. I use it for a lot of my star photos to get as much sky in as possible.

I use to have 16-35 II and I traded in for a 14 II, now I miss my 16-35. I found 16-35 is more useful than 14. I'm using a full frame as well.
