Spiel Posted February 22, 2013 Report Posted February 22, 2013 For those that like the old. This is old considering they've been around since the late 70's. http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&feature=endscreen&v=qmx-nqMaCYw
krixxer Posted February 22, 2013 Report Posted February 22, 2013 (edited) I've been skipping over this thread for a long time now and after looking over the last few pages I see you have great taste. I'll start with this contribution; local band, you can catch them around TO. Edited February 22, 2013 by krixxer

Me or him? He is stuck in a rock age,no country,no blues,no melody. Brain fried and dosent remember his own name. He,s been playing with his long rods to much,he thinks he,s mister long rod man. LOL Back to you now. Is this a local club playing on Queen St? Found myself marching(wanting to watch Return of the Titians),instead of toe stepping or ,what my friend seem to like, head banging. LOL All in fun.
Spiel Posted February 22, 2013 Report Posted February 22, 2013 He is stuck in a rock age,no country,no blues,no melody. Oh I get it (and little of it is rock), it's just not for the timid or those stuck in the spoon fed radio commercial stuff. I've never been there, likely never will. I suppose I derive more from those who buck the main stream and stay with artistic merit over money and a lot of it is very recent, no where near or nothing to do with the "rock age," which for the most part I abhor! If music credentials are of any value to you this might surprise you. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jaz_Coleman
misfish Posted February 22, 2013 Report Posted February 22, 2013 (edited) HMMMMM you took that serious.LOL If you watched that whole clip with Dean and Sammy and Frank, you will hear songs that are done now,by others in this time and age. Even I was surprised. Edited February 22, 2013 by Misfish

Afterwards financial merit "caught between the longing for love and the legal tender" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AQiXQUGbac0
Roy Posted February 23, 2013 Report Posted February 23, 2013 Good stuff. Jackson Browne helped a lot of people along the way. This is one that I liked. http://youtu.be/hiytEK35ddM Another that was good to others including Warren Zevon was George Thorogood.
