Roy, this tune was about 6 or 7 years later, but next to "My Boy Lollypop" (!?) in 1964, was the first Caribbean. (ska) tune ever to be #1 on a North American chart, two weeks in June 1n 1969.

As a youngster, it was years before I realized what I was listening to...

May have posted this before, 83 pages is a long list to look through.

 

But it's worthy of a repeat, timeless music (like Floyd) from a band with unbelievable talent.

First band I saw live at the tender age of 18. :D

Mine was Max Webster at Massey Hall,and I was 12.Seen them again when I was 17 at my high school.You are old.LOL
