mattyk Posted March 15, 2008 Report Posted March 15, 2008 you were right Glen, that was a good long read. Good to hear that people still help now a days.
Big Cliff Posted March 15, 2008 Report Posted March 15, 2008 Glad it worked out OK for you and you were able to trailer your boat. Hope the problems aren't anything serious! Nice of you to offer to help others, I always do, you just never know when you are going to need a hand.
Jeff R Posted March 15, 2008 Report Posted March 15, 2008 Good read, bad luck...glad to hear you were offered some help. Hope it's an easy fix for you Dawg
ccmtcanada Posted March 15, 2008 Report Posted March 15, 2008 (edited) So let me get this straight....all these bozos over 2 days and you didn't catch a single fish? Great report I suppose.... LOL. Hope the motor is ok!!!!! Edited March 15, 2008 by ccmtcanada
Tarzan's Jane Posted March 15, 2008 Report Posted March 15, 2008 the clouds parted and a single beam of sun shone down on me just as a choir of Angels sang Look at you being all poetic on your B-Day....I am impressed
fishindevil Posted March 15, 2008 Report Posted March 15, 2008 What a few days there glen...well it doesnt sound to seriuos, hopefully just a minor fuel problem !!! too bad about bama power screwing with the water levels, they do that to me to when ontario power generation shuts down the ottawa river, they ruin a great wall-ice bite for up to 2 days sometimes, well maybe next time the fish will be back where you can get them, and let us know how the boat motor is comming along, time for a cold beer bud !!!!! good-luck
Mike the Pike Posted March 15, 2008 Report Posted March 15, 2008 Have you ever though of opening a school on how to launch boats. With the abundance of Bozo's in this world you would make a fortune. Good read GCD I hope you get that problem fixed soon so you can give us a fish filled report in the near future.
lew Posted March 15, 2008 Report Posted March 15, 2008 Another great read as usual Glen !! I always look forward to, and enjoy reading your fish'n tales, but your stories about the antics at the boat ramp are even better and worth waiting for......thanks for the laffs Hopefully the motor problems aren't too serious for you either !!
bbog Posted March 15, 2008 Report Posted March 15, 2008 The bow slid up between the 2 bunks, the clouds parted and a single beam of sun shone down on me just as a choir of Angels sang and I pushed the throttle forward to seat the nose of the bow perfectly in the V roller of the winch!!! Good karma - didn't we have this discussion a week or so ago? Hope nothing serious with the boat and your next report includes pictures, lots of pictures!
