fishing with my nephew

Well this morning i headed out to meet my nephew to do some ice fishing at one of his spots

the day started out slow and staid that way most of the day the winds where blowing good but we did manage to get two fish

i had to let Ryan hold them due to the fact he got skunked

so we took one each when i got it home to clean this is what

it had in it's belly

i am surprised it had any more room for the minnow it

Nice eye's. It's amazing what they'll cram down the gullet and then still hit something else. They're oportunistic feeders and when instinct says "that's food" they react. I caught a big pike this spring that had 4" of tail sticking out its throat.

Nope! Two inches shorter and they'd be Pickeral, those are definately Wall-ice!
