  2. holy Bass, you are like a Bass professor!
  3. Driving to Ohio, Sandusky this weekend. Looking to stalk up Mercury OptiMax engine oil. Will be driving pass Buffalo along HWY 90. Pennsylvania, Ohio and Michigan. Anyone knows marina that would sell Optimax engine oil some what close along the highway? Appreciate your help!
  4. Cover your car with toxic secretions from the poison dart frog, same as the Amerindians' indigenous use it to poison the tips of blowdart.
  5. Nice videos! I can see the 2nd video being a part of a great tittle intro. GoPro has pretty bad audio capture system, I'm considering a separate recorder in my pocket for audio signals on my next outing, and sync it back to the video after. You'll hear the hooksets, braidline through the guides and water splashing!
  6. Simply ridiculous! If this is passed, we'll see all kinds of fee for other systems.
  7. Thanks for sharing! Excellent pictures and great write-up. I didn't know OFC members can change their profile name.
  8. Bass and Muskies are next!
  9. Lots of SD cards, batteries and many gigabytes of footage to edit! Enjoy
  10. Who likes to know where he lives and where he hides his fishing tackle? Bunch of garbage and usless fishing tackles. Let's see your spinning gears!
  11. Good job Mike! I also had a walleye tourney today on a popular Kawartha lake. Bucktail in think pond weed edge killed it! Finish 3rd, tricky to fish with the slot size limit. All the best!
  12. Nice eyes Will, towing back to back to BOQ is rough on the car. Uphill both ways. X2
  13. Before I spend $40 on ebay to have one shipped from US, are there any Optima Marine battery dealers in the GTA? I need a battery tray for my new D31 blue top. Bass Pro Shop doesn't have the D31 size tray, I checked last weekend. The dealer locater on Optima Official site doesnt accept Canadian postal codes. Thanks
  14. Congrats on the win! If you don't mind me asking, what size and colour were the bucktail and cranks you were using?
  15. When deploying two drift socks, is it better to have two of the same size or one bigger than the other?
  16. Nice video! Interesting techniques, shallow water and no floats for crappie. What type of structure is that? If you dont mind me asking
  17. Stop fabricating lies! I caught those Steelhead and that brown, you didn't catch anything past weekend. Its easy to catch snake-heads, it was a piece of cake for Jeremy Wade. Impress me by catching a steelhead in South Asia! Have a good trip!
  18. 1st crack at the Kiwanis Fishing Derby, but I have fished Quinte opener for a couple years. Fishing with this boat, and hoping to get lots of these!
  19. What size and model spinners do you use? I've had plenty of success with #2 or #3 Mepps Agilia in copper red or gold. I usually fish the frog waters and very often you'll get some nice browns that come into the river. Fenwick 10'6 UL + 1000 size reel + 6lb line!
  20. What size and style of spoon do you use for Browns? A little smaller than the ones used for Salmon in the fall?
  21. Recently I came across 25% off sale for St.Croix SCV blanks, and I asked myself why not try to build a custom rod by myself. I've been doing a lot of research and there are a considerable amount of information, also confused by the plethora of different opinions. The basic components of rod construction are quite simple,(adhesive, cork, real-seat, guide wrapping, and epoxy finish) It's more of the technical aspect which I need expert advice on. (number of guides, micro guide sizing, guide spacing, spiral guide angling) My wishlist specs: - SCV Graphite Casting Rod 5C76MHMF-B-10S - I intend to use this rod for pitching and flipping - Ti/SS SiC Micro guides with spiral wrap - 50-65lb PowerPro or other braided lines (braid-friendly guides) I've browsed through many discussions on rodbuilding.org, Youtube videos, and custom rod building websites. It is amazing with little research how much information you can grasp right away on a conventional fishing rod. It has certainly give me new insights on how to pick fishing rods and an appreciation for higher grade components and craftsmanship. Feel free to share your opinions and I would love to get to know other rod building enthusiast on OFC.
