  1. You post too much and (probably drink too much), that is what i noticed.
  2. Hang tough Ryan! 9 mnths. ago my father was diagnosed with colon cancer. They removed the bad stuff, now he is cancer free had results from catscan yesterday. I was born 2 mnths. early 40 yrs. ago. weighed 4lbs. 4oz. at birth. Spent most of my life at 5'11" and 200 lbs. Good news will happen, have faith in it. Stay strong.
  3. Wow, now that is ice fishing. Every scrap of that fish will be put to good use.
  4. Your a lucky man Wayne! Your hard work and efforts will take you a long way. Hope you catch some decent fish
  5. Good Luck Wayne, hopefully you unwind and relax. Probably 98% of folks can't leave their jobs, families and prior commitments to do this even though most wish they could. It is Fishing for Tyler this weekend as well. Most don't have the luxuries or freedoms you have. Cest la vie.
  6. Need 6 more entries for next round to be drawn
  7. The information for derby can be found by clicking this link... http://www.ofncommunity.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=50716
  8. This seems to be a good trade for all involved
  9. I noticed this event when posted, well because i have Multiple Sclerosis. http://www.ofncommunity.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=50716 Eight years after being diagnosed it is fair to say it has surely disabled me now. It is a nasty sneaky disease. Not many suffer it on this forum but most people know of someone who has been devastated by it. With the proceeds going to the MS society and prizes, i wish you the best. Unfortunately due to MS my condition prevents me from attending. Good Luck
  10. Haven't been to Quinte for a few years but found some areas around Belleville produced when i started out. One was going south off 401 down wallbridge-loyalist Rd. straight to water. Parking was there and fish were caught. Using jigging raps tipped with emerald shiner heads or swedish pimples with whole emerald shiner worked well.Jigged off the bottom around green buoys halfway across. The area across the big bridge called Massassauga Pt. in around 20 ft. of water using same techniques worked. Careful on the ice this weekend with this thaw. Good Luck
  11. I remember that Mike, lol! You would probably like if this drunk jackass had a fishing show
  12. Haven't watched a fishing show for a decade or so. Did like Bob Izumi's show and Pete Bowman on Fish 'n Canada. Always liked Bob Mehsikomer nailing big muskies on Jackpots on Simply Fishing. Maybe if i have time on Saturday morning will check out to see if any aren't like an infomercial.
  13. Great fish,thanks for picture
  14. Real nice walleye Those big water walleye have a more pale tinge to them, must spend most time suspended in water column.
  15. I kind of agree, i haven't heard anything solid suggesting cormorants have decimated a fish population somewhere in Ontario. Some think (just kill 'em all) is the final solution.
  16. Just joined, looks like more than ten are waiting...
  17. Ohh... i misread title. Thought it said contents of Chronzey's stomach http://www.ofncommunity.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=50826&st=20
  18. Try the Bay of Quinte it's not bad.
  19. It is a brook trout. I remember the report where you caught a fallfish as well there. Both uncommon catches in Rice Lake but it was early in the season when the water was still cold. Have caught quite a few specks in tribs of the Otonabee River. Early in the cold water season they could slip into main lake.
  20. Great topic! Have found small black worms in the stomachs of Kawartha walleyes in the fall. I think they feed on these on mud bottoms off deep shoals. The eyes go deep in the fall and feed on these things as well as small perch etc...
  21. Nice pictorial, that is hardcore fishing conditions. The brown really makes it all good.
  22. Lots of nice fish That is a nice big ling there.
  23. Hi Riley You are so lucky to have such wonderful parents! Your father is one of the best fishermen in Ontario. I am sure you are enjoying all the great adventures they bring. I met you and your brother when you were young and commented to your father on how well behaved you both were. Keep it up
  24. Clicked on the link and thought, WOW! You folks really did well with the walleye down there. Quinte is the best for ice fishing. Thanks for sharing pics.
  25. That is an incredible fish Hard to believe but there are some more near 15lbers there.
