  15. On my dads boat he used a regular cotter pin for the nut and when I took it fishing one day I lost everything when the nut came off when the pin rusted thru. Those washers and nuts for the prop set me back $16 .We found the prop in 8ft of water off the dock but nearly froze diving for it. vance
  16. Hey maureen If I remember right Art said he had already put stabilizer in the gas. What I do with my gas is pump it out into my truck and wipe out the inside of the tank with an old towel to remove what ever gas is left and in the spring re wipe in case of any moisture. For the motor just stabilize, fog and cover it up to keep out drifting snow.Oh yeah do the lower end. vance

  18. Usually if the prop is held on by a nut, you need a large sizer socket than comes in most tool kits.Mercury sells a FLOATING prop nut tool that works great. With the trailer safety chains remember that they have to clip on with some sort of locking provision now.The multipurpose tool kit and prop wrench are all I have ever had and never used either. vance

  24. I have had one for a couple of years and I wouldn't be without it now.I record all my favorite shows with a touch of a button and then watch them when I have time and you don't have the commercials because you can skip thru them .One other nice feature is that if you are watching something live and need to do something you just hit the pause button and it records the program so that you can pickup where you left off and you don't miss a thing.. vance
  25. Sam you are a terrible person I have to go to Kingston in the next two weeks and I KNOW I don't need more tackle--okay I will just stop in and LOOK at what you have--wait you can never have enough.I think this means I don't make enough being retired and need a part time job-boat isn't big enough-garage isn't big enough-need more tackle boxes-will need a new truck to tow a bigger boat and all that equipment. vance
