I had winter tires on my old truck and they were really good for the first 2 years but after that they weren't any better than the all seasons I have on my 1 month old new truck.From what I have read,after the 2nd year winter tire rubber hardens and loses its grip even though there is plenty of tread left and I can't see people replacing perfectly good snows because they are old. vance

Back in the late 60s we had a golden retriever that loved to ride in the car and chase birds.I was in the back seat with the window open in the car doing 60 when she saw a bird and went out the window after it.To this day I still say all my shoulder problems are due to the fact I caught her in mid air just before she hit the pavement. vance

My first guess would be a cracked brake drum,the longer you drive it the hotter it gets and the smaller the crack gets thus less noise.Chased this on an old truck I had for months before I found the cause. vance

My dishwasher (8yrs old) has always drained down thru the floor into it's own trap and drainpipe.The hose has always lain on the floor under the washer without any height all without a problem.It was installed that way by the installer because the sink was to far away. vance

When I was buying my last spinning reel I tried several different types with 3 to 5 bearings.I bought the 3 because it was smoother and seemed to have less drag when retrieving.I have used it steadily for 5 years and it still is as smooth as when I bought it.And yes it was not a cheap reel. vance

I had to go to the Service Canada branch in North Bay today,The lady who was helping me suddenly looks at my OFC shirt reaches out and grabs my sleeve at the OFC logo and without letting go says do you know TJ::unsure:.I had a perfect image of TJ dressed in his TUTU and had an Over Whelming desire to run but she wouldn't let go:o:o.Well yes I have met him a couple of times I say,hoping that this will appease her and it works,she lets go and sits back down:).He went to school with my husband and fishes and hunts with him all the time(image of TJ in a red hunting TUTU immediately enters my head):rofl2:.Just goes to show you can't go anywhere without meeting some one who knows TJ. vance

Back many years ago my dad and I are fishing in a 12' canvas boat on the upper lake in Fundy National Park when dad whispers don't move and points with his head to shore.Out walks a full grown bull moose and wades out in the water directly to our boat and stops about 6 feet away and proceeds to eat off the bottom of the lake,he must have stayed there 10 min bobbing his head down to the bottom and coming up with large mouthfuls of vegies and eating them right there in front of us.When he was finished he turn walked out of the water stopped at the shore,let the water run off of him,took three noiseless steps and completely disappeared into the dense brush with out a sound,leaving us sitting there in amazement at the mamoth size of that moose and how quietly it could move. vance
