  1. Welcome back to Leaf land Matt!!!! ? HH
  2. Isn't it about time that the goaltender coach talks to Freddie about handling the puck? It seems to me that every time he has the puck behind his net, he passes it, under pressure, to the wrong team! It also seems like Gardiner is the victim/culprit on the defense core.... HH
  3. I went through two sets of Michelins on my Jimmy. Both sets, the side walls cracked and not just on the curb side of the vehicle, all four tires. I would listen to @John as he is in the business and has offered help to so many here. HH
  4. At 11.6m per year, I have to wonder what Mariner is going to be worth come the end of the season. HH
  5. For days on end!!!!! I remember smelt fishing on Erie.... green garbage bags full of smelt. Two days of sitting with scissors. I can't even look at a smelt anymore! HH
  6. When I was a kid, we used to catch them at Springbank Dam in London. Having tried numerous techniques to not only get them to bite, but to also get them in, we found that using a small float, with about one foot of line below, with a treble hook and minnow worked best. We would wrap the minnow around the treble, sometimes 'more than one, so that the fish saw a ball of minnows. We'd either hook them in the "nose" or just inside the mouth... they are tough critters to hook. That all said, we got pretty bored catching them as the fight is little to non-existent. @Moosebunk has posted some incredible Gar fishing reports, perhaps he could shed some light on the topic. HH
  7. No one looks at my posts anyway Terry! HH
  8. Ok, now I get it, you sir/madam are full blown spammer! Reported! HH
  9. Holy Necro thread! Not sure what would entice you to bring this back to life?! HH
  10. Any active mines up around you Lew? HH
  11. http://forum2.quintefishing.com/viewforum.php?f=1 HH
  12. Yah Brian, but what did he break?! LOL HH
  13. To me, he looks like he's in his "playoff form"... out to lunch! HH
  14. There as many conflicting opinions on this topic as there are hits in Google on the topic. Here's one that says what it says... https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/fact-or-fiction-chocolate-is-poisonous-to-dogs/ HH Edit for clarity... I am not suggesting that anyone feed their dog chocolate.
  15. It certainly makes me an expert on my dog! I'm with @Whitespinnerbait, there is no proof that chocolate harms dogs. HH
  16. Chocolate killing dogs is a myth. I have a 90lb lab that ate two one lb orange/chocolate eggs and the accompanying boxes one evening. He did not die, yes, he was a little "excited for a few hours". The worst was the "green apple two step" for a couple of days. HH
  17. I was pretty impressed with the way the Bolt's collapsed on their net, when things got hairy around it. So many blocked shots and no time for the Leafs to make up their mind where to pass to or shoot. I think the Leafs could take a page outta the Bolts play book. HH
  18. Apparently, Woodbridge is the place to be for this type of thing! "It's worth the trip to Woodbridge!" LOL HH
  19. I suggest that you leave the truck running/warming up in your driveway and go in the house to "grab a few things" while it's warming. With any luck, it will be gone when you come out. Sorry, that's the best I could come up with! HH
  20. He's looked scared/afraid for a long time Bill. HH
  21. Unfortunately by that logic Brian, we would never have passengers in our cars! HH
  22. I agree, with the addition that he will just disappear in the playoffs again anyway! HH
