  1. Apparent suicide while filming in France. I loved this guy! Told it like it is and knew how to eat! I feel really bad for his family. HH
  2. A little weave of bacon on that thing and you'll never let it go Brian! HH
  3. Apparently Canadian steel and aluminum is deemed a National Security Threat! LMAO! HH
  4. The now dead NAFTA deal had provisions in place forcing Canadian oil south of the border at prices lower than the standard barrel of oil. With NAFTA now dead, should Canada be able to direct it's oil anywhere it wants? Also, I find it a bit of a head scratcher that Canada, a NATO Allie of the US is now considered a country of concern to the U.S.. HH
  5. Akri, I don't know for sure if this will help you, but I have a friend with the same problem with her hands. She bought herself an acoustic guitar and has started playing it as much as she can. Playing a guitar will certainly increase circulation in the hands as your hand muscles will require more blood flow in order to play. HH
  6. Hey Brian, all is well on my front! Sharing videos on Youtube is not the same as illegally down loading music. The assumption being that youtube is an open forum to share. It becomes a problem when you use someone else's intellectual property within the video. If you wrote and played the music in the background of your video, you are free to use it obviously. That's your intellectual property and you are free to use it as you choose. Grabbing video from Youtube and converting it to a format like MP3 takes money out of the artist's hands. That artist has incurred expenses that can not be recouped unless the public buys the music, whether that be the single song or the album they produced. It's not a wonder that concert tickets have jumped so high in the last number of years. With all the illegal downloading being done, touring is their only avenue to revenue. HH
  7. Not to be a stick in the mud, but you all realize that what you are doing is illegal and takes money out of artists hands? Yah, likely to never be caught, but you are"stealing" intellectual property by illegally down loading music files. HH
  8. Let me know if you need any further info re Spain, I'll do my best to help! HH
  9. I believe that Spain is much cheaper than Portugal. My father in law wintered there for a number of years after having tried various locations in Florida. My wife and I would visit for March Break. OL, if you are considering Spain, look in the Malaga area and specifically a town called Nerja. It is a beach town about 1/2 hour east of Malaga. 200 bars and restaurants that are in the down time during our winter. Lots to see within a couple of hours drive, menu of the day is $5.00 CAD and includes three courses and a bottle of wine. You can surf cast the Med, day trip to the Alhambra, take a ferry at Gibraltar and hit North Africa for the day. There is a "Canadian" village on the edge of town, it's a town house complex that is almost entirely filled with Snow Birds. Beats the crap outta Florida! HH
  10. That and the fact the the "Flat land" allows you to watch your dog run away for a day or two! HH
  11. Hit Lady Simcoe Saturday morning with Fishnsled, with Perch as our goal. Found them in 12-15 fow, almost 100% males and aggressive! Ended up with about three pounds of fillets! HH
  12. So, it's December and we have a deep down desire to hit Quinte again. Arrive to find that the Picton launch and bay are frozen over. The ferry launch is not available as the snow plow has filled it in. We hit the marina on the south shore near the ferry. The pic is what we found there upon arrival. Two of us spent two hours clearing the ice off the ramp with shovels. That's dedication! To make matters worse, I think we only got one fish for the rest of the day! HH
  13. Garden fertilizer! HH
  14. No Brakes!!!! Have a blast with that thing... but be sure you don't put your foot through the floor lookin for the brakes! HH
  15. Was fishing Quinte in December. It was -15C when we arrived in Picton, in the dark. No one else at the launch and we back the boat down. Holding the line, I notice that the boat is riding pretty low in the water. The boat is frozen to the bunks. Trailer is hanging below the boat! Pull the boat out, drive over to the power wash stall on the strip in Picton and hammer the bunks with hot water for 15 minutes. Drive like crazy back to the launch, back the boat down and she lifts off the trailer! A fishing we will go! HH
  16. That's likely Bill, however is it a coincidence that he chose that street and that side of the street? The west side of Yonge from Finch to Sheppard is government row. HH
  17. My thoughts on this... there are a number of government buildings in the area and he may have been trying to make a point. There's a Government of Canada building, Armed Forces, TDSB Head Office to name a few. My wife's boss is at 5050 Yonge. Her comment via a tweet - "Noone wants to see bodies laying on the street through there office window." HH
  18. I'm hoping the Officials are more interested in officiating the game and less interested in TV face time. No one that I know of spent big bucks to see the linesman exercise his puck dropping skills all game long! It would also be nice if the ref's spent some energy nabbing the initial offender instead of the reprisal! I know, too much to ask! Hoping for a better effort from all involved in blue and white. Uncle Leo being out and off the power play should help, but everyone needs to play bigger and tougher... bring back Borgman! LOL HH
  19. I was with you whole hardheartedly until you went and mentioned the Icelanders! Too much "Puffin" going on with those folks! HH
  20. Check your dates Scuro! HH
  21. Stay in Hay Bay, you will find them there, if you look in the right places. Water temp will lead you in the right direction. HH
  22. Note the location in this posters profile... kinda ironic isn't it! HH
  23. Yah, I wouldn't waste EVO on this dish. You need enough oil in the pan to fry it evenly, not like frying a cutlet, almost a deep fry, but in a pan. HH
