  1. The first guy to learn how to turn right would get my vote! HH
  2. Welcome back Lew... I must say that I was pleased reading your report to find that you had a rather un-eventful summer and that you got to relax. Un-eventful compared to some other summers... just what the doctor ordered. HH
  3. Does that mean the imfamous Wally Diver is available! HH
  4. All good suggestions above! Based on the amount of bad press fishing has received of late, I would like to see something that discusses fishing ethics. I believe that both sides of that issue, could use some knowledge and experience and I feel that your unique style would lend itself to many folks. I wouldn't expect that to change everyone, but if a few folks gain some knowledge, well, it's like that hair commercial from years ago... he told two friends and they told two friends... HH ****Or if that doesn't work, you could always do a segment on the advantages of coloured marshmellows vs plain old white!
  5. I guess this means that you are going to replace those blades on your auger! Congrats man! Maybe a new Wally Bomber as well! LMAO! HH
  6. Sorry Jet, but I bought one of those lights and it didn't even hold one re-charge before it hit the garbage can! I'll second the suggestion of using an old camera flash. Sure has put a nice glow on my Cleo's! HH
  7. Really great shots Joey... Daddy's little girl is making me veklempt! HH
  8. Can anyone give me an example of any circumstance where increasing a fee or charge for service within any government agency has actually improved the service of any governmnet agency? As far as the carnage that takes play during the salmon run, well, to my mind, I'd rather they do what they do to salmon, then have them raping another resource. Throwing money at problems only make them more expensive problems. HH PS... I vote $0.00
  9. No offense meant Doc, but shouldn't you be holed up somewhere with your lovely bride, discussing your own colonialism? I know I would! LOL HH
  10. Mid week bump for those who don't know! HH
  11. Boy, that sure sounds like a great use of tax payers money... HH
  12. See, I told yah! LMAO! Thanks for the chuckle Wayne! HH
  13. That's a great story Phil and one that will be passed along in your family for genereations to come... I wish you luck in your quest. HH
  14. Don't worry too much about those pics Terry... they probably would have made a sign about my fishing abilities, or lack there of, if they between the two of them, they could figure out how to spell "Joe"! And if you look closely at the background of those shots, you can see all the first few attempts at spelling Terry, lying on the ice! HH
  15. Terry, I'm gonna steal the Walley Driver and drive over it with my truck.... then, you'll only have one lure to bring! HH
  16. Brian, I'll be bringing two rods...both line counter reels on Shimano TDR rods, 8 footers. One reel spooled with 20 lb mono and one reel spooled with lead core. Guys will tell you to use braid and floro, I believe that you need the stretch inherent in mono to absorb the hit and fight...JMHO! Obviously being attached to in-line planer boards... Baits: Reef Runners (clown) Raps, Mann's Stretch 20, 25 and 30's maybe even some spoons! Hope this helps? HH
  17. Thanks for the help Lloyd... I really didn't need a guide at the kitchen table, but I appreciate the effort you put forth, in guiding me towards cerebral bliss... that turned into a body smack... but fun all the same! HH
  18. You know, these things happen to the best of family and friends! HH
  19. Yup, Lloyd was the tonic you needed Wayne... great pics and reports! HH
  20. And yet another reason to wear boots! HH
  21. John, chumming requires that you actually EAT something! I like to think of it more as "steeping" HH
  22. I blame Lloyd for that! But if I recall correctly, others were shall we say "hurtin" the next morning! Hey, I dug deep and made the trip... probably would have caught more fish, had I stayed at the cottage! LMAO HH
  23. Well Wayne, I believe Lloyd's boat is the only boat at the GTG that has a bed... so ..... ... I'll bring the pink gloves! HH
  24. "I'm jealous of all you young budgers partying all night and still able to get up in the morning and fish. Back in the day I coulda kept up, even set the pace, but now, in my advanced years, I'm afraid I'm a liteweight when it comes to serious partying. I'll probably get a sympathy hangover just knowing how much hurt yer all gonna lay on yerselves. But the cigars sound good. JF " Well John, I can see where you are coming from and typically these GTG's require a few days of R & R (recoup and resusitate SP) afterwards. Luckily for some of us, we have had a great deal of practice in the past and are doing everything we possibly can, to stay in practice and utillize these hard won skills. HH PS... a most of us will be trolling for our Pickereyes, only the boat driver actually has to stay awake! LMAO
