I called building management and they have agreed to pull those chairs out of storage, so we can reserve our spots for the parade! I gotta admitt though, they are getting pretty tired of take'en them out and puttin' them back! HH

I had back surgury for a herniated disk in the mid 90's. Microdiscectomy... small incision, in with a laser, clean up loose parts and re-seal the bad disc...DAY SURGURY been great ever since... Funny how no one until Jimmer's post mentioned ice... Most folks with bad backs have stressed out muscles, not structural problems (note I did say most) Muscles get over stressed and the body sends blood to heal, but when you send blood to muscles, they get inflamed and they squeeze nerves + PAIN... ice will take the blood away, so you should be doing the frozen pea thing 3-4 times a day, for 1/2 hour or so... My doctor was Dr. Michael Ford and if you can get in to see him, I highly recommend him... he know's his stuff http://orthopaedics.utoronto.ca/faculty/list/ford.htm Ranked top in his field in Canada. Sony outsourced the manufacture of their tv's to Indonesia about 10 years agao. In doing so, they also outsource the manufacture of the components of their tvs... so who ever said earlier in the thread that the only thing left on a Sony TV that is Sony, is the name plate got it partially right... I'm sure they outsourced the making of the plastic plate as well. All this stuff is very personal and the only way to determin what's right for you is to go out there and look at TVs... but that can be problematic as you have to ensure that the tvs are all set up the same way and that can also be a challenge. I have a 46inch Panasonic Viera plasma and to my eye, plasma looks much more organic than LCD... very much like, to me anyway, the difference in sound between a very good vynal audio system and CD's. To my ear, vynal sounds warm and real, CD (digital) sound s harsh and brittle. BTW - my plasma sits right beside 8ft patio windows and we have NO problem with light... they fixed that stuff years ago! HH

Come on guys... what happens on Nipissing, stays on Nipissing! Why do you think that those 3 or 4 weekends per year are SO important to those of us fortunate enough to be there. Well, that and Bernie's cooking! And don't forget the Geisler Island rendition of Brown Eyed Girl! HH -
Go to google type in "French military victories" hit "I feel lucky" You will get a google response that says... "Do you mean French military defeats"! HH

Funny enough, I had a cat that loved tinsel... would suck it off the tree like pasta... and yes, I would find it in the litter box... heck, I even hung it off the tree one year... pricess looks on visitors faces as they admired our tree, until they came to the cat's contribution! LMAO HH -
Well, there's yer grain of salt! HH

When I met my wife, manny moons ago, she had a blonde Lab/Pointer/everything else mix dog named Ben. Funny dog, I used to fish for him in the school yard. Tied one of those nylon bones to my musky rod and cast away in the yard. The dog would grab the bone and fight me all the way in... heck, he'd even jump a few times!LOL I recall coming home one day to find the kitchen floor covered in apple cores... yess, Ben loved apples and had taken it upon himslef to eat a ten pound bag of Macs... I found the dog standing at the patio doors, back legs crossed just waiting for someone to come home and let him out. The look on his face when I let him out was priceless! HH -
Well BB, after just celebrating the 20th anniversary of my 29th birthday, I just don't feel so young any more... but with that said, I'll take it anyway! HH
-
Well BB, based on what I read and the musings of a co-worker, we're having dinner at 6:30am!!!! I'm all for being different, just ask anyone who has met me, but I don't think I'm working the graveyard shift, so that would mean breakfast to me! And that would mean you're going to have to get up really early to have it on the plate on time! LOL HH Edit*** and who you calling "young"!

Very nice!!!!! HH

Ok... Mom raised a tall boy, not a bright one... what the heck does that mean!? HH

I found that a reasonably price squirt gun can humiliate a cat faster than anything... and it only takes a few squirts for it to realize who's really the boss! (Note - Don't let "the boss" see you doing it! )LOL HH -
What time is supper than BB? HH
-
Come on BB, I know we allow banjo's across the border! And after the game, Rice Lake is only an hour away! HH

Grab your ice fishing rod, tie on a pouch with catnip and start flippin for the cat! Seriously, I had a cat that would cry for the fishing rod... I had to hide it in the closet or the cat would simply go nuts! Many an hour spent together, with me laughing my off at that cat jumpin all over trying to get that pouch. Burning it across the floor... LMAO! Like so many things in life, you can fight them or you can take advantage of their attributes and use them to your advantage. HH -
One of my all time favs... I just look at him and I would start to laugh... "Nice beaver" "Thanks, I just had it stuffed yesterday" "Have you ever been to a turkish prison Billy?" May he rest in peace, with a smile on his face combined with a look of complete confusion. HH

Glad you enjoyed them Brian... but much like sushi, I simply don't eat bait! I also can't get past the smell coming off of the can when you first open it. HH

Thanks everyone! My wife literally dragged me to see "Wicked" on Saturday night... and no, unfortunately, no lemons were hurt all weekend... but a good time was had. Thanks again all, HH
