  1. Salty, wolf's den is only 15min from Barrie. Maybe worth checking out?
  2. He's up early, lock the cabinets and close off the stairs(as if you don.t know that). I was lucky my boys didn't start walking till around a year old LOL. Lot's of fun ahead Mike ,enjoy.
  3. I agree,I used to bring two rods and switch it up every now and than.Last while seemed to forget what used to work so well at times.Thinking I might go back with the two rod option. Looks like you had a fun day Dr.
  4. Very nice!,hoping to get a couple hours myself this week. This coming rain can't hurt I hear?.
  5. nice catch,my dream for sure! ,catching a fish like that amazing, letting it go "priceless"
  6. Emil, pictures are great hopefully one day you can give me a tip or two. I'm relatively a beginner, caught two, lots of hours spent but still enjoy. I also enjoy fishing from my boat but that is two different worlds and I enjoy both, keep up the posts please,a little more good reports never hurts.davey
  7. Dave I couldn't said it better myself,it seems straight forward, what else could be the problem?
  8. Hope you can all remember ,not to long ago, when gas was a $100.00 a barrel, the pump per litre was$1.00. I don't think we will see that again. What happened?.
  9. I may than reconsider,thanks merc.
  10. Mike I don't know if that's something you want to takle. I'm a millwright and I don't know if I would tackle that unless it was something in the screen or something obvious. Also because of age, and pricing on new machines, energy efficient,I,m also thinking of replacing Mine. It's about 11years old and did well for me. Just my 2cnts worth.davey.
  11. Just maybe time for a new one as I'm guessing 15 year old or abouts?
  12. Hey wantabigone, why don't you full edit your request and say I'm available if any one wants a fishing partner. You may get a quick response.
  13. If it isn't leaking water on the floor, your probably right. What about the door seals?
  14. $5 bucks on coyotes as well. I'm a leafs fan but until Reimer gets back,no consistency IMO. It's funny how a goalie can determine the fate of the team. And the season is still early.
  15. Maybe they could at least keep them until they are big and strong enough to fend for themselves,I don't know if that's possible, but they seem quite small to take on the world/lake.
  16. Thanks guys for your input,I will hope for rain or head to higher waters:worthy:
  17. Great job,but at that size how do you give them a fighting chance with the smallmouth and pike?. Hope it works!
  18. Yes I went to a 5 gr float, but you could see clearly. Sorry guys for the precise areas that I posted. My bad.
  19. Water very clear, but not much action lately. Slow for most. I guess the water still needs to get colder.Going to try again this Saturday, but noticed very few people out last Saturday on a very nice day. What do you guys think?. Is it the calm before the storm?. Any ideas,or comments?. Thanks davey. For someone who pm'd to my post,no specifics were given, either help or not!
  20. I agree,Bob Mackenzie is commenting as I write this.
  21. I'd be more worried about the sharks:rofl2:
  22. Just to add my 2 cents, Ive had the same 10/27 Murry select From home depot and have done oil changes every year,no problems.Imagine that in Barrie. I agree 10hp or greater is a must if you have any snow at all. A good cover to help slow down the rust and added weathering to the pull cord. Oh by the way I have a plastic shute and I add hot water some times because of freezing
  23. There in first overall for the moment, let.s just have a moment silence:worthy:Best start in years,I hope they do well:clapping:
  24. Christmas is coming,just saying:whistling:
  25. There pricing is by far the best I have found in the gta.
