  1. I should be careful as well, but I believe the gates are locked shut
  2. I like hornet blaster at dusk, pick it up anywhere. It has a long saturated direct spray.Next day take a long pole and knock it down. Worked for me several times.(except the time I ran my lawn mower over a ground nest, that hurt, maybe 10 stings, did not see it)
  3. I'm self employed, always ask for payment in 5 days. But that is only on a reccomendation from someone I know. Other than that,20% up front.I know it won't help you now,but maybe in the future. We have to look after ourselves as know one else will.Hope you can salvage something. davey.
  4. Great pics,love that stuff:clapping:
  5. Da bills are closing in,go bills go!
  6. Remindes me of a 14' runabout I had with a 40hp evinrude. When I bought it I was told it was under the water at the dock for two weeks. The mechanic was able to get it on a trailer, get it running and all was well. You know I bought that boat for $700.00,drove it for 5 years,no problems, and even had a bidding war when I sold it for $1400.00.Fibre glass, went like hell. If it was a inboard/outboard maybe not
  7. That is excellent!!!!!!
  8. I believe I spelled it wrong?
  9. Went to a couple CT stores today and two other fishing stores and heard they are now discontinued, hope they are wrong.Any one heard any different?
  10. It doesn't get much better than that does it?
  11. The more I'm out,the more I hear about the aventa probably best bang for the buck.Still a quality reel from what I've read.
  12. 40 something?Nice one.
  13. over 36"for sure.Nice catch!
  14. I love the #5 mepps gold and a 3/8 white spinner bait, when first hitting the lake.
  15. Maybe, let us know when you get back.I've wanted to try that lake for some time, just don't know anyone who knows the lake.
  16. First time there?I know of two people who lost the lower end of there motors there first time there.Good fishing but you must know the lake.
  17. If it's garbage clean up or garbage left behind, the towns or townships could police the areas and give fines to those that litter.Would be some money to be made that way.
  18. You make a good point.Doesn't the revenue from our fishing licenses suppose to pay to manage our fishing lakes and rivers?I can see tournaments and derby's as extra monies.
  19. There's also cedar park rentals in Little Lake Barrie. Always catch fish there.Reservations for weekends,he let's you go at first light and the rental is till nightfall if you wish.
  20. Not me either, but like everything else by the end of the season we won't even notice.Probably?
  21. $50 bucks is what I was thinking,You really couldn't go wrong at that price.
  22. The only way it may work is tee off after the primer ball. With the proper line and connection at motor. You won't likely be able to run both at the same time, but I'm sure you wouldn't. Other wise, just run two tanks?,two lines, two connectors, done,do whatever you want than. One time relatively small expense.Hope this helps. davey.
  23. water is never really clear,I put 150 yards of backing on and about 200 yards of mono.Went again yesterday,approx,3 hours saw some fish but not on my line.Still no line twisting at all with that swivel above the float. I'm using a coke type machine for my egg sacks,I hear they work ok,what's your guys opinion? I have no other source of fresh eggs or skien[spelling].Thanks davey.
  24. Thanks to all the guys who recommended putting the swivel above the float.Spent 3 hours today and not one line twist, also no fish lol. Thanks again
  25. I've always just put a tight knot on the spool and reel the line in under a good resistance .That goes for mono as well.Never had any slipping issues.
