  1. We were in cooks bay today, regular spots, but not much showing up on the finder.Pretty cool and windy. At the end of a slow day we know the areas to get some perch action, lots of action but smaller than usual.
  2. I would assume some dis assembly would be required Brian?
  3. Dr,when you say clean, are the bearings not sealed?.If not they wouldn't last long without regular oiling and cleaning. Not to mention rust. Thanks davey.
  4. Make sure you stay between the buoys. There are lots of rocks and as you enter the gap, to your left is a shallow shoal going far out.Yes that "gap" can get very windy in a hurry especially this time of year. I grew up in that area. Some good fishing if your careful off the marked areas.
  5. I love the shots of the fish and the rod/reel in the water. Is that OK?I try my hardest not to get any additional water into the reel, and any dirt.Am I being too careful?.What are your thoughts?. There not cheap.
  6. That must be a joke lol.Who in there right mind would fish in those conditions? That's why steelhead fishing is better.Later into the fall/winter,temps to cold, nasty weather, rain, maybe snow. What else could a fellow ask for when river fishing?.Good fishing everyone.
  7. Nice catch,it only took me 4 trips to the river(lots of hours)and when a nice gentleman beside me offered me a suggestion or two,10 mins later I was casting across the river if I wanted, and caught a few fish since than. What a thrill to palm the reel without any mechanical help. Only wish I would of caught on to this earlier. Pangle,by the way same reel as I have.I love it. Oh,still have to work on my delivery, not the smoothest cast you'll see!
  8. Nice pics moose,isn't that paradise:thumbsup_anim:
  9. Great catch!,of all the fish I have caught nothing IMO fights as hard as a 10-20lb salmon. Heaven forbid I ever hit a 25lb plus fish. Steel head, pike ,muskie, big bass etc, great fight .With up to 15min plus and spool you if your not careful, what fresh water fish can give you that?
  10. Let's start again,maybe?
  11. Too add,any plumbing/hyd hose supplier will have what you need.
  12. There in there, need to keep trying:thumbsup_anim:
  13. shinny,if you haven't used one yet, believe me colour is the least of your problems.Just saying:rolleyes:
  14. Nice fish! What about the guys who put their pins in the water while taking pictures with the fish? That can't be good either? That could be another topic later.
  15. People love those beautiful ugly sticks. I've only heard good "all" around rod reports. Everything only takes so much abuse:Gonefishing:
  16. Brian don't forget about me!lol,good going.
  17. Berkley Gulp pink worms. The only ones I can find at CT.
  18. Good show Brian,I'll be heading out tomorrow morning:thumbsup_anim:
  19. I don't know for sure but why wouldn't you switch it up every 20-30mins if no action? That's normal anytime when searching for bass or any or fish you are targeting .Good luck davey.
  20. I know that spot!. Ontario right? nice one all kidding aside.
  21. Nothing wrong with a 40" plus pike,nice fight. I had a 37" hit on a #5 mepps gold,really nice:thumbsup_anim:
  22. What's with that? I heard after last years huge snow fall in the north superior area, water levels were to make a great rebound.
  23. Is it just the pick ups Brian?or other makes, models, years. davey
  24. Howdy Blainer
  25. I've only ran the cedar point to midland area.Your boat is a lot bigger than mine but the swells are massive with a good wind.A friend of mine has a boat similar in size to mine, and it was funny that in between swells we could not see each other.Only water.Good luck sir.
