  1. Are you talking about supluses of oil in the ground; crude in storage/transit; or refined gasoline? Taking refineries in North America off-line most certainly will affect the supply of refined gasoline in North America. It doesn't matter how much excess crude OPEC (who have nothing to do with this increase) have access to around the world; if you take North American refineries off-line then you will reduce the supply of refined gasoline in North America.
  2. What is false? 1) Are you claiming that oil doesn't come from or get refined in Texas? 2) Or, are you claiming that reducing supply does not affect supply & demand?
  3. A lot of oil comes from or is at least refined in Texas. All of the flooding will reduce the supply. Supply and demand. A drop in supply or an increase in demand leads to higher prices.
  4. It was posted on TUFA's FaceBook page. The poster seemed to think the town had created a by-law. But, from the descriptions that I have read; it sounds more like the MNR enforcing the no fishing downstream of an obstruction laws.
  5. I have read that there are no fishing signs up at Dunnville. I have never fished there myself, but it seems to be a popular spot. I am not familiar with the spot. From what I have read, there is public access within about 25 years of the dam, and private property downstream from there. Perhaps the MNR is just enforcing the laws about fishing downstream from an obstruction.
  6. They did in the past. Now they have found another NHL team with whom they would rather be associated.
  7. That seems strange. I just checked by PC. I have a folder with pretty much all of the photos that I have taken with cameras and cell phones since going digital going digital somewhere around 2001. It takes up 2.34 GB. Eight gigabytes should be enough to store several thousand pictures.
  8. Just a note. The MNR has been stocking Hamilton Harbour with walleye over the last few years. I haven't fished in myself; but I understand that they have been doing well there. There may be some more local opportunities than he thinks.
  9. You'll probably be able to pick some up pretty cheap in a few days
  10. What types of fishing do you use the Tite-Loks for? I am looking for some clamp ons for boat. Unfortunately, Salties won't fit over my gunnel and Cannon has discontinued their clamp-on holders. Scotties work but their large profile catches the water and make for a wet ride. I hoping to find something that is not bulky; but that can handle copper, divers, and in-line planers for salmon.
  11. Cabelas used to carry Sea Eagle. I am not sure if they still do.
  12. My son watches quite a few movies. He liked Baby Driver, Wonder Woman, & Dunkirk.
  13. He won again. He is the semi finals now.

  15. 18 year old Canadian Denis Shapovalov is giving Nadal a run for his money. 5-4 for Shapovalov in the third set tie breaker.
  16. It's federal parks that are free this year. The OP said provincial parks.
  17. But if most people did the oil change themselves, then it wouldn't be done by a licensed technician or oil change specialist.
  18. Brook trout that spend part of their life in Lake Superior and part of it in the rivers. I guess they could occur in other lakes too; but they are usually associated with Lake Superior.
  19. Isn't it federal parks, not provincial parks that are free this year? That is unless I missed something about provincial parks. Although they may be packed this weekend anyway. Squirrel Creek Conservation area and Warsaw caves come to mind. They are on the Ottonabee & Indian rivers. I am sure there are other parks in the Kawarthas.
  20. Some of the rules have been loosened. https://ca.news.yahoo.com/transport-canada-quietly-loosens-rules-185252549.html
  21. That may have been easier before throwing it against the wall...
  22. They were a bit of a fad about twenty years ago. You could also buy the colouring to add to the bedding to make your own green worms. Nobody seemed to have any more success with them than with regular worms.
  23. Comments are better than the video...
  24. The shape of the fins and tail are a give away too. Muskie fins and tail would not be as rounded as pike fins.
