Wasn't it you that claimed that Ottawa fans, unlike Leaf fans, support the players on their team? And wasn't that claim made in reference to Phaneuf? Wasn't it you that claimed Duchene was a significant upgrade over Turris? Wasn't he supposed to be the guy that would let you make a run for the cup? Wasn't it you that claimed that Karlsson was arguably the best player on the planet? Wasn't it you that claimed that the Ottawa forwards were great two way players whose defence more than made up for the lack of goals that they score? Just asking...

What to do if your boat flips over?
John Bacon replied to LostAnotherOne's topic in General Discussion
The foam can also become water logged. Especially if the boats is often stored at the dock. Although, I have been told that the foam used in newer boats is more resistant to becoming water logged. My 1994 Alumacraft sank in 2008. Prior to that, I did notice that a loose piece of foam in the bilge sank right to the bottom. -
Does anyone have a contact at TD Canada Trust? I am trying to get an RESP associated with an estate resolved. Nobody from the branch is giving me any information. If someone knows someone at the bank that could give me some idea of what is going on, I would appreciate it. Thanks

Even if it takes them over twenty minutes to get to the rink?

I don't see it not happening. Apparently, Senators fans are revolting. Personally, I have found them to be revolting for years now. I guess others are starting to agree... https://ca.sports.yahoo.com/senators-fans-revolt-melnykout-continues-trend-canada-003407904.html

Polak, Lupol, & three third rounders for Karlsson. Ottawa covers the salary difference between Karlsson & Polak so there are no cap issues. Leafs cover Lupol's salary (no cap hit) and Ottawa's tarp account. Polak saves Ottawa the embarrassment of Phaneuf being their best defense man after Karlsson leaves. The third round picks can be used to draft players who will be ready to enter the NHL around the same time as their upcoming lottery picks. This is ideal for a long rebuild. When visiting small market teams, Ottawa can use the tarp account to buy unsold blocks of tickets and cover the seats. This essentially gives Ottawa home ice advantage.

Karlsson trade? https://ca.sports.yahoo.com/news/learned-erik-karlsson-blowing-senators-164621165.html

Are you going to need any tarps for the renovation. If so, I'd make sure to pick them right away while they are still in stock. They may be hard to find in the Ottawa area pretty soon.

I remember a few years ago someone referred to some of the customers of the one of the fishing shows as "country bumpkins" and caught a lot of flack from many members on the board. Yet, people constantly refer to people as "citiots" without a second thought.

Fishing gadgets you wish existed? INPUT NEEDED!
John Bacon replied to Sterling's topic in General Discussion
Not according to the description... "To those who love the sport of ice fishing. We all have a story or two of the BIG ONE that got away. Now we can show the big one that didn't get away! Introducing the Crappie Coffin, the only ice fishing net on the market today. Born out of the frustration of losing that big fish at the top of the hole. I decided to go to work on a solution to this problem. The Crappie Coffin is the result of this effort. Placed in the drilled ice hole, you drop your jig down through the center of the Crappie Coffin and fish as always. The hooked fish is reeled up and enters through the one way passage at the bottom and is then trapped within the net. Also your sonar transducer will work normally placed inside the unit. No more lost fish wrapped around your transducer. Once you use the Crappie Coffin you'll never want to fish without one." -
Ontario to Increase Ethanol Content in Gasoline

Doesn't Canadian Tire get their fuel from Esso? Or, at least some of it. -
Ontario to Increase Ethanol Content in Gasoline
John Bacon replied to G.mech's topic in General Discussion
I do recall reading that using ethonal in gas actually leads to a net increase in carbon emissions. They may be screwing us over for nothing. I did a quick search and found a few links. I am sure that other studies will show the opposite. But at least according to some; this isn't even going to help. https://academic.oup.com/bioscience/article/55/7/593/306765 https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/ethanol-not-cut-emissions/ http://thehill.com/policy/energy-environment/293291-study-ethanol-increases-carbon-emissions -

My parents owned a cottage from the late eighties until 2008. The cottage next door was owned by a school guidance councilour who was convicted of molesting some of his students. He had seemed like a nice guy before the conviction.

That would explain why you would be upset now that the Leafs are showing some signs of success...
-
Your forgetting all of the that Ottawa will save by trading their first pick from 2016 and their first draft choice from 2018 or 2019... among other players that they traded in the deal Oh please! Matt alone dumps on the Leafs more than all Leaf fans combined dump on the other teams. Leaf fans have put up with jabs for years; now that the Leafs are doing better than your team you can't handle even a tenth of the abuse that Leaf fans have endoured.

Blue is the colour that is visiable in the least amount of light; red requires the most amount of light. I think pure red would fade to black. But if there was some blue tint in the red, the blue would remain visiable after the red had faded to black.

It's not just a gun shop. They have fishing products as well.

Interesting video on depth and colour. You may need FaceBook to see it.

No, I am pretty sure that they don't have any affiliation with LeBaron's.
