Being somewhat knowledgable of addictions (smoking, booze, fast women and slow horses) I have to say yes, OFC is an addiction... It's not all bad though...I joined in the summer of 2002 and since have met a bunch of swell people...some at meet and greets, some on fishing trips, some at my home and some at theirs and a lot of others just on-line who I hope to meet face-to-face someday... How much time do I spend here?...Probably too much...Does the Betty Ford Clinic have a program for OFC addiction ???

How cum it is always the guys with just a few posts under their belt are the ones that want separate forums for each subject ? I go on various boards that do just that and rarely read any more than one forum... Spiel said it best...don't like the subject don't read the thread... When out fishing, my friends and I discuss many things besides fishing...no different here... After you have a couple thousand posts under your belt come back and see if you still feel the same...those oldtimers know what they are talking about (most of the time)...

Don't know the name of the street but it is on the mainland side and runs along the inner harbour... My bro-in-law and myself found a pawn shop with lots of rods a reels at reasonable prices... We had already bought a couple of outfits at Wally-Mart and were kicking ourselves that we hadn't discovered this place first... Either way we saved the $5.25 rental fee every day we used them...6 days and they paid for themselves... The Fishing Hole was a great bait and tackle store...used filleting knives for $2.00

Had you have walked...you might just be arriving now...we were WAY...WAY...OUT !!!...I was expecting to go through the Narrows at any moment... Only the odd fish caught...lots of peoples trying but most came up empty... That first photo is calendar worthy !!!
