  1. Amazing upgrade Cliff !! Looks like a reak fish blaster !!!
  2. I have a 6.5 medium HMG.It is the only spinning rod i own. I use it for LMB and have also caught walleye and SMB on it. I have a Pflueger President on it and i love the combo.Very sensitive.I have yanked on it really hard a few times, and have even brought up an 8 foot section of a sunken tree without breaking it.
  3. Better than what i got today Oh well, at least i know where the walleye are now
  4. it was an awesome, eerie sight.
  5. Dang lucky you were not there when tha came down. Awesome Pike too. Glad to see i'm not the only one who handles pike with gloves
  6. Nice One Brian!!! Sign is what, 8 1/2 x 11, so that would be about a 28 incher
  7. I bought a pair of Berkley fishing gloves. The palms and fingers have grips to help grip the fish, but they are soft. I always wet them first. If i am going to keep the fish, then i go bareback, but Pike and Musky are always released.
  8. As some of you have noticed(Sinclair) , i wear gloves when fishing Pike. I was taught that Pike, Musky and other soft skinned fish are more sensitive than hard scaled fish like Bass and Walleye, and that wet gloves would help protect them from contact with my skin. I find that wearing these special gloves also gives me better control and more confidence when handleing these types of fish. I am not afraid to touch fish(Sinclair ) just afraid to damage them.I even hesitate before grabbing a fish by the gill plates for fear of damageing the gills. So, was i taught wrong? Should i continue to wear gloves, or should i go "comando", and not worry about the fish coming into contact with my hands.
  9. Good Luck out there guys.Stay safe and post the pics when its over!!!

  14. As much as i hate to agree with BB, he is right. The question as to whether or not JR was on, or stopping steroids is one we may never know for sure. The stories on his untimely death are many, but from what i have read, suicide makes no sense. Officially no note. Spoke to his mother on the same day and sounded perfectly fine.(cant fool our moms)No real problems or depressive incidents to speak of. Gunshot wound to the chest? Accidental maybe, but people rarely shoot themselves in the chest, when trying to end thier lives. Just doesnt sound right A sad mystery.

  20. I am having a hard time believeing suicide. Even the police will tell you, that someone wanting to kill themselves, will rarely shoot themselves in the chest. It just isn't effective enough.
